No My guy, I gave my evidence, your job now is to evaluate the evidence with scriptural backing.....if you were a lawyer i would so fire you on the spot.

If I was your lawyer, I would tell you to plead guilty on all charges by reason of insanity and hope for a lighter sentence. Christ doesn't have two brides: Judah and Ephraim.

This of cause is your opinion based on the following verse

And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

However your opinion is simply that an opinion which is not of scripture.

This however is scripture of the same phrase

Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created human beings on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other . Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of?

Don't you get tire embarrassing yourself? The word "heavens" from the verse you pulled is plural with an "S" at the end. That's referring to the sky just above us.

The word "heaven" in Matthew 24:31 is singular, no letter "S" at the end. This is referring to the place where God dwells.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn (Revelation 1:7), and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Revelation 19:11-16)31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:29-31).

This is not the rapture. In a rapture, people go up to heaven, they don't come down from heaven.

I was out on a walk yesterday and talking to my husband about the affect believing in a pretrib rapture has on me. This is what I realized...

1. If I believe it is imminent, I am looking up for Jesus, with excitement and hope and joy. Whereas if I believe it's later I am in fear looking for the Antichrist, I would be stocking up on food and hunkering down.

2. If I believe the Lord will return at any moment i am wanting to share the Gospel with people in a sense of urgency so they can escape the tribulation and be ruptured as well. BUT, if I believe we will ALL go through the tribulation regardless, then I would be tempted to wait until the Antichrist pops up and starts telling people to take the mark so I can tell them "see, now you believe me! So don't  take the mark!". I will be more credible by that point.

3. If I believe in the soon return and imminent rapture I am drawing closer to God out of love, and loving others. But if I believe the Lord tarries I would say to myself "The Master delays His coming! No hurry no worry!" and I begin to live worldly. Which is easy for me to slip into.

4. I do not know when the Lord returns, but if it it post trib  or mid trib  it can be easily calculated.

Therein lies your problem,satan can't force you to take the mark,you will do so by your own free will...

God will allow it as He will send the strong delusion ,and even that's an act of love,as you won't be judged in ignorance..

Christ CAN'T return at anytime for He told us everything that shall and MUST take place before that return.

Really thats what you going with?

://biblehub.com/text/matthew/24-31.htm

Please note your "heaven" is actually in plural heavens

ouranōn

Case: Genitive
Gender: Masculine
Number: Plural

If it was singular it would be ouranos

Now what?

You can't rapture people from the sky either. There's no dead in Christ buried in the sky. In fact, no one is buried in the sky above. People are buried in the graves on earth. If you see an "S" at the end of heavens in a translation, you can't figure out that's a translation error? There's 50 plus English translations and you decided to use the duped one? You either don't get it or just pushing more heresy.

Try refuting this. The word heaven is here too. Both Matthew and Mark couldn't have made the same mistake using the word heaven if they're telling us this is the rapture. In a rapture, people go up to heaven, they don't come down from heaven. The gathering after the tribulation is not the rapture. The elects of Israel are being gathered from the earth and the elects of the church are being gather from heaven

Mark 13:27 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.

God always gathers His people back to Israel after He scatters them. It's already happened numerous times in the past. What makes you think this time God will rapture the Jewish people back to Israel instead? Modern transportation?

There's tons of scriptures in the OT about the gathering of the Jewish people after the tribulation. Not a single one telling us Israel will be raptured immediately after the tribulation. Tell me if you can find a rapture in any of these scriptures describing the Jewish people being gathered back to Israel after the tribulation.

Ezekiel 39:21-29 New King James Version (NKJV)

21 “I will set My glory among the nations; all the nations shall see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them. 22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day forward. 23 The Gentiles shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they were unfaithful to Me, therefore I hid My face from them. I gave them into the hand of their enemies, and they all fell by the sword. 24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I have dealt with them, and hidden My face from them.”’

25 “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name— 26 after they have borne their shame, and all their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, when they dwelt safely in their own land and no one made them afraid. 27 When I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and I am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations, 28 then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer. 29 And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord God.”

Isaiah 49:8-26 New King James Version (NKJV)

Thus says the Lord:

“In an acceptable time I have heard You,
And in the day of salvation I have helped You;
I will preserve You and give You
As a covenant to the people,
To restore the earth,
To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages;
That You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth,’
To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’

“They shall feed along the roads,
And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights.
10 They shall neither hunger nor thirst,
Neither heat nor sun shall strike them;
For He who has mercy on them will lead them,
Even by the springs of water He will guide them.
11 I will make each of My mountains a road,
And My highways shall be elevated.
12 Surely these shall come from afar;
Look! Those from the north and the west,
And these from the land of Sinim.”

13 Sing, O heavens!
Be joyful, O earth!
And break out in singing, O mountains!
For the Lord has comforted His people,
And will have mercy on His afflicted.

14 But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
And my Lord has forgotten me.”
15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me.
17 Your sons shall make haste;
Your destroyers and those who laid you waste
Shall go away from you.
18 Lift up your eyes, look around and see;
All these gather together and come to you.
As I live,” says the Lord,
“You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament,
And bind them on you as a bride does.

19 “For your waste and desolate places,
And the land of your destruction,
Will even now be too small for the inhabitants;
And those who swallowed you up will be far away.
20 The children you will have,
After you have lost the others,
Will say again in your ears,
‘The place is too small for me;
Give me a place where I may dwell.’
21 Then you will say in your heart,
‘Who has begotten these for me,
Since I have lost my children and am desolate,
A captive, and wandering to and fro?
And who has brought these up?
There I was, left alone;
But these, where were they?’”

22 Thus says the Lord God:

“Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations,
And set up My standard for the peoples;
They shall bring your sons in their arms,
And your daughters shall be carried on theirshoulders;
23 Kings shall be your foster fathers,
And their queens your nursing mothers;
They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth,
And lick up the dust of your feet.
Then you will know that I am the Lord,
For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”

24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty,
Or the captives of the righteous be delivered?

25 But thus says the Lord:

“Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away,
And the prey of the terrible be delivered;
For I will contend with him who contends with you,
And I will save your children.
26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh,
And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine.
All flesh shall know
That I, the Lord, am your Savior,
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Jeremiah 32:37-42 New King James Version (NKJV)

37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. 38 They shall be My people, and I will be their God; 39 then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. 41 Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’

42 “For thus says the Lord: ‘Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.

Isaiah 27:12-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 And it shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will thresh,
From the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt;
And you will be gathered one by one,
O you children of Israel.

13 So it shall be in that day:
The great trumpet will be blown;
They will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria,
And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt,
And shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Zephaniah 3:8-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

“Therefore wait for Me,” says the Lord,
“Until the day I rise up for plunder;
My determination is to gather the nations
To My assembly of kingdoms,
To pour on them My indignation,
All My fierce anger;
All the earth shall be devoured
With the fire of My jealousy.
“For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language,
That they all may call on the name of the Lord,
To serve Him with one accord.
10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia
My worshipers,
The daughter of My dispersed ones,
Shall bring My offering.
11 In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds
In which you transgress against Me;
For then I will take away from your midst
Those who rejoice in your pride,
And you shall no longer be haughty
In My holy mountain.
12 I will leave in your midst
A meek and humble people,
And they shall trust in the name of the Lord.
13 The remnant of Israel shall do no unrighteousness
And speak no lies,
Nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth;
For they shall feed their flocks and lie down,
And no one shall make them afraid.”

14 Sing, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem!
15 The Lord has taken away your judgments,
He has cast out your enemy.
The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst;
You shall see disaster no more.

16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Do not fear;
Zion, let not your hands be weak.
17 The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”

18 “I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly,
Who are among you,
To whom its reproach is a burden.
19 Behold, at that time
I will deal with all who afflict you;
I will save the lame,
And gather those who were driven out;
I will appoint them for praise and fame
In every land where they were put to shame.
20 At that time I will bring you back,
Even at the time I gather you;
For I will give you fame and praise
Among all the peoples of the earth,
When I return your captives before your eyes,”
Says the Lord.

Micah 2:12 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 “I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob,
I will surely gather the remnant of Israel;
I will put them together like sheep of the fold,
Like a flock in the midst of their pasture;
They shall make a loud noise because of so many people.

Jeremiah 50:4-5 New King James Version (NKJV)

“In those days and in that time,” says the Lord,
“The children of Israel shall come,
They and the children of Judah together;
With continual weeping they shall come,
And seek the Lord their God.
They shall ask the way to Zion,
With their faces toward it, saying,
‘Come and let us join ourselves to the Lord
In a perpetual covenant
That will not be forgotten.’

Psalm 106:46-47 New King James Version (NKJV)

46 He also made them to be pitied
By all those who carried them away captive.

47 Save us, O Lord our God,
And gather us from among the Gentiles,
To give thanks to Your holy name,
To triumph in Your praise.

Amos 9:11-15 New King James Version (NKJV)

11 “On that day I will raise up
The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down,
And repair its damages;
I will raise up its ruins,
And rebuild it as in the days of old;
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom,
And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,”
Says the Lord who does this thing.

13 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,
And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;
The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,
And all the hills shall flow with it.
14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
They shall build the waste cities and inhabitthem;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
15 I will plant them in their land,
And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,”
Says the Lord your God.

Doesn't seem like there's a rapture in any of these gatherings after the tribulation.

Now what?

You still don't get it

Matthew 24:31 is in a plural

ouranou is the original language

Pull up the original language  for that verse if you don't believe me.....go on I dare you. So I don't know how you can claim that the original language is a translational error?  Absolute joke

However Mark 13:27 in the original language of heaven is in the singular.

No. You're the one who's not getting it. They're parallel verses and written about the same event, but you're trying to make them different, always trying to make the bible what you want it to say. And I've already checked on this in the greek long before you realized the elects are being gathered from heaven.

The elects of the church are being gathered from heaven, where God dwells.

Matthew 24:31 King James Version (KJV)

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:27 King James Version (KJV)

27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

You can't rapture anyone from heaven or from the sky just above. It's a simple fact but you just don't get it.

Quote

Well your the one with the contradiction

You're wrong here too. I see Matthew and Mark's version as one in the same. In perfect harmony with no contradictions.

You're the only one with issues who thinks Matthew 24:31 is about the sky just above while Mark 13:27 is about heaven where God dwells. Everyone knows they're parallel verses about the same event except you.

You're not fooling anyone, just looking bad with your foot in your mouth trying to pull a fast one that's all.

Quote

Heresies are those which are fulled of contradictions.  Your stuff is ripe with it. In fact it goes so far as accusing the original language of Matthew to be wrong.

That's what!

That would be you. You're obviously having issues harmonizing Matthew 24:31 and Mark 13:27. It's not complicated if one would takes God at His word.

What do you think it say? It's clearly not telling you they're being gathered from earth. It the elects are being gathered earth, it would say earth as did in Mark 13:27, not heaven or heavens.

Also from biblehub, what does this say?

http://biblehub.com/lexicon/matthew/24-31.htm

There's no mistake on my end. I knew exactly what I said, you don't but think you do. It's your mistake not understanding what I was telling you. You're so slow at understanding when one tells you in a general sense the difference between heaven and heavens as mentioned in the bible.

Ok lets test how slow I am

You stated the following:

In black and white you claimed:
1)    Matthew 24:31 is singular no “S” and that is referring to the place where God dwells.
2)    The word Heavens with an “S” at the end is referring to the sky above us.

On the same page so far? Ok...moving on to your next famous sentence

In Black and white you claim:
1)    If there is an “s”  at the end of heavens that it is a translation error.

On the same page so far? Ok...lets begin!

DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A TRANSLATION ERROR TO YOU?

mat2431.png

the "P" in the marked red box for you on the left hand side stands for PLURAL, somewhere between P ------L you get singular???

Is this like orange is the new black, where plural is the new singular?

BASED on your claims in BLACK and WHITE

1) Matthew 24:31 is singular no “S” = FALSE - OURANON is PLURAL, therefore HEAVEN in MATTHEW 24:31 is HEAVENS because it is PLURAL

which renders your second fallacy also false

2) If there is an “s” at the end of heavens that it is a translation error. = FALSE - THERE is INDEED an S because the original language in NTgreek of MATTHEW 24:31 is plural being HEAVENS, translations that have the PLURAL HEAVENS is CORRECT, translations of MATTHEW 24:31 with the singular heaven is INCORRECT

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

singular is incorrect, it is plural and should be translated HEAVENS -WHY? because that is the original word of GOD!

Moving on....

Your claim in BLACK and WHITE

1) I am the only one with the issue who thinks Matthew is about the sky

2) brought down from first claim -   The word Heavens with an “S” at the end is referring to the sky above us.

On the same page right? You then proceed to give me a link to biblehub and ask me "what does it say"

Let me show you what it SAYS....

lexmatt1.png

it says SKY and it says OURANON, as youve just learnt OURANON is PLURAL for HEAVEN being HEAVENS

IT also says further on down in the same link you provided from the lexicon

lexmat2.png

PLURAL

Your claim in BLACK and WHITE

1) I am the only one with the issue who thinks Matthew is about the sky = FALSE - clearly I'm not the only one who thinks matthew is about the sky

By your very own statement: -The word Heavens with an “S” at the end is referring to the sky above us. you are now forced to admit Matthew 24:31 states SKY

HENCE you contradiction by your own making:

You are forced to take GOD at his word BY your statements claiming Heavens with an S = sky and Heaven with no s = abode of God

It is been proven by the WORD of GOD that MATTHEW 24:31 of Heaven to be HEAVENS with an S

you further just claimed the following:-

You are forced to admit the rendering SKY in MAtthew 24:31

Your contradiction just claimed you cant rapture people from the sky

......................................................................

Your interpretations ------listen to me, are no where close to harmonizing with scripture

This is a perfect example of why scripture must interpret scripture

the very phrase "from one end of the heavens to the other" must be understood with its usage elsewhere in scripture

Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created human beings on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other . Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of?

is referring to inhabitants under the heavens on EARTH.

FURTHER

The surrounding phrases in Mathew 24:31

And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

The four winds refers to earth, this is also given in the very link you provided

by implication the four quarters of the EARTH

if that is not enough we can easily turn to scripture to interpret scripture for us when it comes to phrases

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.

The phrase in Matthew 24:31 they will gather his elect from the four winds is referring to earth

the same is implied in Mark 13:27

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Matthew 24:31 and Mark 13:27 is referring to a rapture on earth ONLY it is in perfect harmony with understanding the phrases

from the four winds = earth

from one end of the heavens to the other = under the heaven or heavens

................

Lastly Heaven in Mark 13:27 is ouranou another form of ouranos, however the very word ouranou is used interchangably as the abode of God or the sky. once again you simply do not have a strong case with your interpretation, in such cases the surrounding text and phrases to Mark 13:27 must dictate the phrase OURANOU to be Gods abode or the sky.

It is used only 92 times, here are just some examples of the word OURANOU

Matthew 6:26 N-GMS
GRK: πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὅτι οὐ
NAS: at the birds of the air, that they do not sow,
KJV: the fowls of the air: for
INT: birds of the air that not

Matthew 11:23 N-GMS
GRK: μὴ ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήσῃ ἕως
NAS: will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will descend
KJV: unto heaven, shalt be brought down
INT: who to heaven have been lifted up to

Matthew 13:32 N-GMS
GRK: πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ κατασκηνοῦν
NAS: that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come
KJV: so that the birds of the air come and
INT: birds of the air and perch

Matthew 16:3 N-GMS
GRK: πρόσωπον τοῦ οὐρανοῦ γινώσκετε διακρίνειν
NAS: the appearance of the sky, but cannot
KJV: the face of the sky; but
INT: appearance of the sky you know [how] to discern

Matthew 21:25 N-GMS
GRK: ἦν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἢ ἐξ
NAS: was from what [source], from heaven or
KJV: was it? from heaven, or of
INT: was it from heaven or from

Where are you gonna find graves in the sky when the dead in Christ rises first?

Matthew 24:31 King James Version (KJV)

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

This is not the rapture. What part of heaven do you not get? In a rapture, people go up. They don't come down from heaven where God dwells or from the sky where birds fly.
