Peter, James, John, and Andrew. It was they who asked Christ for the sign of His parousia. Peter. James, John, and Andrew were among the Apostles and Prophets who were said to be the Church's foundation, with Christ Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone. The elect in this context is the church. Jesus was speaking to the founding members of His church.

When this question was asked, they were of Israel.  They were followers, not Believers or of the Church.  Yes, they became some of His Apostles.  Was/Is Abraham part of the "elect", was he chosen.  Yet he is not the Church.  And yet there are elect angels 1 Tim 5:21.  Will you be in Judea so you can flee.

No, one Bride, the Church, without spot or wrinkle.

Hosea depicts Israel as the unfaithful wife of God.

So you say Christ is a bigamist. Many wives. Similar to Morman doctrine.

If Israel has always been the Church, guess what, no Gentiles.

Where is the promise to re-marry?

Acts 2:.. 1 - When the day of Pentecost came.... v3 - All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit. v.17 - In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people,  v. 18 - I will pour out my Spirit in those days.  Acts 11:26 - The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.

BTW, we are grafted into the vine, which is Jesus Christ.   John 15:5 -"I am the vine, you are the branches, If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit. "

Now was Israel indwelt by the Holy Spirit? NO.   The Bride are those who have been indwelt by the H.S, the Counselor.  John 15:26,27.

Rev 19:7 - and His Bride has made herself ready.   And you say Brides.

Greetings to all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,

MM, what have you been smoking? You said that Peter, James, John, and Andrew were not believers, but only followers, whatever that means.

Joh 6:64  But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
Joh 6:65  And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
Joh 6:66  From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Joh 6:67  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
Joh 6:68  Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Joh 6:69  And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

Mat 16:15  He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

You might want to spend more time listening to and asking questions of those who know Christ and His Word and making fewer statements. Your statements only expose your ignorance of the Holy Scriptures.

No, I don't expect that I will be in Judea when the man of sin is revealed in the temple. However, there will be believers there who will greatly benefit from Christ's warning not to return to their homes to pack but to immediately flee.

Glory to Jesus Christ
