Most have forgotten that the H.S. was only given to New Testament Believers.  Not to O.T. saints or other saints. Only N.T. saints have the privilege of being absent from the body and present with the Lord upon death. Who are N.T. saints,  but both Jew and  Gentile,  both indwelling by the H.S. as one in Christ. All other teaching which divert from this is not of Christ.

Hi @Montana Marv : Romans 8.9 shows that the indwelling Spirit is the privilege of the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Very true.  Acts 1:5 - For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.  v8. - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.  Acts 2 --- When the day of Pentecost came.... v4 -  All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit.  The "them" here are the Apostles, and those who were among them.

I claim "those who belong to Him" means EVERY saved person in history.  You disagree.  So what?  Can you prove me wrong?  Of course you can't.

You don't have the facts.  Just your opinions.

Pauls Prophecy in 1 Corinthians 15:23 does NOT mean every saved Christian.

Proved by the plainly stated Words of Jesus in Revelation 20:4-5. ONLY those faithful Christians killed during the 42 month reign of the 'beast', will be raised when Jesus Returns. The Rest must wait for the GT Judgment, a thousand years later.

YOUR opinion is wrong.

[double click fail.  It sure does.

Where do you read the word "only" in Rev 20:4-6?  Nowhere is where.  That's the problem with "speedy readers".  They miss things.  Important things.  Or, they ADD things that just aren't there.

Rev 20:4-5 doesn't negate or change what 1 Cor 15:23 very plainly says.

But since you are so disagreeable about this, can you prove that the words "those who belong to Him" CAN'T refer to every believer in history?

That is the only way to restore any credibility to your posts.

iow, prove that "those who belong to Him" only refers to some believers.  And Rev 20:4-5 isn't that evidence.  You have read "only" into a verse where it doesn't exist.

In fact, it's the other way around.  1 Cot 15:23 defines WHEN all believers receive their immortal resurrection bodies.  The MERE FACT that John noted martyrs identifies that believers will be resurrected.  Not ONLY martyrs, but "those who belong to Him".

Absolutely "death is swallowed up in victory" at the GWT judgment.  Obviously.

Your claim is "False"

Death is swallowed up in victory at the second coming and resurrection seen below, not 1,000 after your man made claim of a Millennium on this earth

Scripture below clearly teaches at the return of Jesus Christ the resurrection takes place, mortal becomes immortal, "Death Is Swallowed Up In Victory" (The End)

You're in rebellion to God's clear words of truth before your eyes "Why"?

Your claim is "False"

When Jesus Christ Returns (Then Cometh The End) when mortal becomes immortal, as death is swallowed up in victory, No Millennial Kingdom On Earth Following As you falsely continue to Claim, It's That Simple

You don't want to see "The Last Enemy Death Destroyed" at the resurrection below, because you have a man made millennial kingdom on earth to falsely promote, with immortal believers running about with dying human mortals, as Jesus sits on a throne being chief funeral director, More Big Smiles!

How long will you deny the simple truth before your eyes, as you continue to teach contrary to scripture presented again and again?

Jesus Is The Lord

1 Corinthians 15:23-26 & 51-54KJV
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end,
when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Do you have a bible verse for that?

Bellow is a quote from Jesus in Mathew 19:28 and in Luke 22: 28-30 ...in both passages Jesus is saying the same thing under different time and under different circumstances.

-----particularly in Mathew 19 just before verse 28 the disciples were wondering who will be saved....and if them selves will be saved who had left everything to follow him...and this is how Jesus reply to them..

That when he sits on the Throne of his glory they will also sit on thrones to Judge the twelve tribes of Israel....that's how Jesus told them that they will be Saved ...and he told them that not all the Israelites will believe because they will have to informed those who died in their unbelief to Jesus that they died in their sins...as they were in the New testament God accepts only the forgiveness of sins in the Lamb of Jesus Christ...in the blood of Jesus in the new Covenant...because they died in the New Covenant...

Jesus said that: "you will also sit on twelve thrones Judging the twelve tribes of Israel..."

In both times Jesus said that will happen "after he Son of Man sits on his glorious throne..." in Mathew 19:28 Jesus said that some time before the last supper and began with "you will also sit on twelve thrones" right after he said " that he will sit on his glorious Throne.

Jesus said that it will take place in the renewal of things....when all things will be made new...

Interesting that in Luke 22: 28-30 when Jesus said: "you will sit on thrones Judging the twelve tribes of Israel ".. Jesus said that during the meal of the last supper. And before he said that Jesus said when will that happen...when he said: verse 29,

"and I confer on you a Kingdom, just as my Father has conferred one on me. Verse 30, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom and SIT ON THRONES JUDGING THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL.

......I am not sure that this is very clear and precise because Jesus was careful how and what to say to them because they were not quite ready to process what he was telling them without a margin of error...their minds were not quite renew at that time and won't be yet for some time..

But we can see the warning Jesus included in his sayings, when he said something that applies to him after his death and beginning with his death..

In Luke he is telling his disciples that after they sit and eat at his table...after the Father has conferred a Kingdom to him and he has conferred a Kingdom to them so that YOU MAY EAT AND DRINK AT MY TABLE IN MY  KINGDOM AND SIT ON THRONES JUDGING THE TWELVE tribes of Israel..

****THERE IS ONE THING CERTAIN THAT NOT ALL JEWS WILL BE SAVED in Mathew 19:  that it is not him who will preach the Gospel to the twelve tribes in the New Covenant but they will be the ones to preach the Gospel to them and every one of them will hear the Gospel but not everyone will believe...because jesus is telling them that they will sit on thrones to be the ones to Judge those who died without believing....the disciples preached to them the word of the Gospel to them and they are without the excuse that the Gospel was not preached to them....

The disciples will remind them the exact time and place and the words they heard from them and they will remember how they responded...not only at that time but in the time when they die that they were still in unbelief...

Those people loved God ...and they kept his comandments and they were obedient to the Law of Moses....and they were expecting to be in the Inheritance of Abraham in their Father Abraham...they were expecting to be gathered to him...so they needed an explanation as to why they were judge to be excluded from the Kingdom of God and his Christ....and or from their inheritance to be together with Abraham...because they were just informed that they were judge to be away from God in the eternity...no matter how one's call it the substance is there. .they had refused to be in Christ..under the Atonic  blood of Jesus Christ.   That Jesus was the Lamb of God who takes away their sins...they refused to believe in the Gospel preached to them by the disciples...this is the generation who had witnessed the miracle of Jesus and the wonderful things he did...but they had decided to follow the Priests-their religious leaders.

And they remained in their belief and they did not repent and believe that Jesus is the Christ....

Jesus is telling them that they will preached the Gospel to them and some will believe and those who do not believe in their preaching of the Gospel and die in their unbelief they will judge because they died in their sins.  Jesus told the disciples that they will have the burden to inform them that they are not Saved but they are lost...

* Mathew 19:28

New International Version
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

       ---------

* Luke 22:28-30

28 You are those who have stood by me in my trials. 29 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, 30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel....

I am tired of all your copy and paste posts.  You have no evidence at all for your "spiritualized" version of Scripture.  By spiritualizing, you can make up anything you want to.

Rev 20 is as literal as can be.  If you CHOOSE not to believe that, it's on you.  It's not my responsibility to change your mind, or convince you of anything.

My responsibility is to present the truth.  What you do with it is up to you.

There are many verses about Jesus ruling over the nations.  It's quite literal.

I'm not interested in opinions.

Ezk 43:4 - And the Glory of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing East. v 5b, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. v7 this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet.  This is where I will live among the Israelites forever.  Zech 14;16 - Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.  20. On that day Holy to the Lord will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the Lords house will be like sacred bowls in front of the alter.  Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them.

And some may say that horses will have immortality and that we need to cook and eat.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
