Israeli Journalist Ehud Yaari says Australia’s move to not recognise West Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel was a “surprise” and he “did not understand” why it happened. “I think it’s a different type of relationship that is probably emerging between the current government in Israel and the Labor government in Australia,” Mr Yaari told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

A completely unnecessary virtue signal.

Such a dumb thing to do - for no other reason than to show themselves on the wrong side of the culture war. The journalist "“did not understand” why it happened" because there is no sensible reason for it.

Really - how many Australians are worried about their nation's recognition of Israel's capital?

Nothing new for Labor though (who, by way of a US analogy, are the "Democrats" of Australian politics). The Prime Minister recently became the first to march in a gay pride parade (how stunning and brave). And remember how Chairman Dan treated his own people during the pandemic (with the assistance of his Stassi-esk police cronies). They are infected by the anti-Christ spirit. This is how the left works now. They have "exchanged the truth of God for the lie" (Romans 1:24).

Nevertheless, God remains on His throne.

Sydney Harbour Bridge shut for Pride March as major roads closed 
Sydney’s Harbour Bridge will be shut down for hours on Sunday morning, with drivers warned to leave lots of time as major roads are also closed.

Sydney commuters face traffic chaos as the city’s iconic Harbour Bridge and surrounding major roads are shut down.

About 50,000 people, including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his partner Jodie Haydon, are expected to march across the bridge on Sunday as World Pride wraps up.

Entry to the march was by ballot only, and attendees were seen dressed to the nines for the occasion, with bright colours and sparkles popular themes.

Sunday’s event marks the first time in 23 years the bridge has been closed for a march, with the last being a reconciliation walk in 2000.  The bridge and the Cahill Expressway over Circular Quay will be closed to motorists until about 11.30am.
