Laak is in it, its Strong's #3807a The BHS Interliner - is that in Logos software? Funny, the Strongs number doesn't coinside with what my Strong's has. I have: kāṯaṯ: A verb meaning to beat, to crush, to hammer. This term is used in reference to the destruction of the golden calf (Deu. 9:21); and in the eschatological hope of hammering swords into plowshares (Isa. 2:4; Mic. 4:3). It can also be used figuratively for destroying an enemy (Deu. 1:44). Obviously not the same word. All of my Strong's numbers are proceeded by the letter "H." I wonder what's goin' on? I have Strong only on the computer, no paper version. Thanks for the info. Art

Just probably not in the way you want. I found a little time to come on today , anyway... I Believe Matthew, yet since i did not write it i am not going to be able to say anything to you to make you believe this because i didn't write it. But i will make this point! God does say they are living, and even in Jesus' day God used them as Messengers, remember God used Moses who was long gone and died 1500 years before him, Yet! Moses talks to Jesus. Moses Died out side the promised land so in no way was Moses' body become resurrected and then walked to Jesus. The bible says that Moses Appeared to Jesus. Before this appearance of Moses, Jesus said: He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive." (I used a New Lexicon for our Convenience) The KJV New Testament Greek Lexicon: Alive: Transliterated Word: Zao to live, breathe, be among the living (not lifeless, not dead) to enjoy real life to have true life and worthy of the name active, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God to live i.e. pass life, in the manner of the living and acting of mortals or character living water, having vital power in itself and exerting the same upon the soul metaph. to be in full vigour to be fresh, strong, efficient, as adj. active, powerful, efficaciou Jesus used a word showing life, Being vigorous, in the manner of the living and acting be among the living (not lifeless, not dead). Moses was clearly this when he appeared unto Jesus. Ill get back to the other one tomorrow

Agreed with all of it, right? Seriously, towards the conclusion, 2Cor. 1:14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus. Paul will rejoice with the Corinthians when the Lord returns and

I checked in Mat. and Mark and applied your quote to those verses. It says in Luke 20:38, For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. You were correct and I was not. I will get back to you shortly on the rest of your last post. Art
