I am ones of those people that have a hard time believing what seems impossible, many times, even if God says it. I knew that God could do anything, but I didn't think my family would ever get saved. My brother, in this case, is almost 20, has no hope for the future and therefore doing nothing with his life, barely made it through high school, didn't make the Marines because of a mild social disorder(aspergers), hate church, wants nothing to do with God, and is a proclaimed atheist. My brother, for the past seven and ahalf years that I have been at church, has done nothing but curse God, laugh at what I believe and put it down, and honestly, he would rather burn the church than to ever set foot in it. I had no hope of him ever getting saved, and also, I have never really prayed a lot for my family's salvation because I have never really had the faith. Praise the Lord, however, my church family has...

Well, no, before I go any further, my brother has not accepted the Lord yet or seem to be considering it, however, my brother has been asking questions about God, why I do certain things, and he asked one time, "Well, aren't we all heaven material" !!!!!!! This is my brother who has shreded the tracts I used to try to hand out.. the one who has hid my bible and threatened to rip it up... has cursed God... and he asks a question that implies that he might believe in heaven.. or believe it might be possible??!!!!

This is simply meant to say... there is hope for our lost loved ones.. unfortunately, it takes a lot of time.. I pray my brother will be get saved before it is eternally too late.. however... I am writing this to say.. there is hope.. keep on praying! and if you aren't praying for whatever reason.. there is no time like the present! God is good!!

My dad has so much head knowledge about God. Sometimes he surprises me with what he knows but he is not a "born again" Christian. He disagrees with almost everything that I say about God, Israel and other things of God. He gets uncomfortable when people are praying and talking about God. During a NASCAR race there was a preacher praying for the safety of the drivers. My dad got up and left the room because it made him uncomfortable. I got him other Christian stuff that is just gathering dust in his room. He often went to church as a child but never received Jesus as Lord and Savior.

We were watching a story on the evening news about Christian wrestling. He said that he is totaly against it. He said we don't need more family friendly entertainment. In my mind I thought totaly different. I was thinking that that wrestling organization was trying to win souls for Christ. I was right but my father was talking loudly over the TV because he didn't want to hear it. The Christian message just makes him uncomfortable.

It is so frustrating having a loved one that doesn't want anything to do with God. I hope that your brother gets saved. There might be more hope for your brother because I am sure that in his heart he knows that he is wrong. My father thinks that he is a Christian but by his actions I know otherwise. It is frustrating.

Here is something I would like to share with you that came from Pastor Benny Hinn

"But if our gospel be hidden, it is hidden from them that are lost; in whom tha god of this world has blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them." 2Corinthians 4:3-4

"We have power and spiritual authority, not over the will of a loved one, but over the enemy (Luke 10:19).

He went on to say in essence, when we pray for our loved one we can bind those spirits of darkness that has them blinded as we pray for their salvation. We cannot change their will, but we can change the spiritual climate over their minds and the Lord, by His Holy Spirit, and goodness, can draw them to the cross. No one comes to the cross except the Holy Spirit draws him.

Keep praying for your brother and watch the Lord change his life right before your eyes :-)

scuze me a moment while I shout !!! :-) Praise You Lord! Thank You for the salvation of our lost loved ones! Thank You for household salvation!!

"One persons walk with the Lord can blanket an entire household with favor and rescue them from damnation."

Be cautious of Benny Hinn. He was probably right in that situation because he used scripture to back him up. Not many people trust him because he says many things that are not scriptural. Charles Stanley, Adrian Rogers and David Jeremiah are just a few that I know that I can trust. Please don't be offended but Benny Hinn isn't very reliable. I don't trust him at all. :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
