I doubt very seriously that this can be proven, but I'll give you my take on it anyway. Magog was a territory named after Magog, a son of Japheth. Most believers think this is modern day Russia, but Turkey is another possibility. But where I would disagree is when you said that he is a person. Of course I'm assuming you mean a human being. This presents a major problem. There's no men that live for thousands of years in their flesh, not since the fall anyway. Yet we see this Gog, the prince of Rosh, is attacking God's people again after the millennial Reign of Christ. Since he is clearly on the side of the enemy, he must be one of Satan's fallen angels. Sometimes these evil angels are referred to as princes. Satan is the prince of this dark world. He has already been defeated. Now he is our accuser, but we know he will be thrown down and crushed soon. We can also see that the angels on our side are also sometimes called princes. Example : Daniel 12:1 - "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.
