I agree that we don't agree with the content of the movie but how will the general public see the movie? Is it written well? Is the acting good? Can we assume it will go to the Oscars because it's done well? (And because it's anti-Christian?)

The book read more like a mystery crime drama.

Looks like the movie is focusing on the blasphemous part of it.

Matthew 12:5 Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you." :emot-crying:

Guest Timothy R.

Heresy!!! The movie I mean and the book. I have lost my respect for Tom Hanks.

Wish Mel Gibson would do more movies about Jesus. Like the Gospel of Mark or John.

How could you stand to even watch the DaVinci movie? I think I would get physically ill.

Please do not make comments on this movie, since some people ( like me) do not agree with some stuff in it  .

Second about the Da Vinci code, it's a blasphemy, lie's, and a lack of understanding.

This movie is just here to try to divide the church and give comfussion to new believer's in Jesus Christ.

So my advice, don't see this movie.

It will say things not even in The Bible. And rather what the devil wants you to hear/

I must ask.... why on earth should we refrain from commenting on a movie at all, because you don't like the movie? We don't like the DaVinci code movie, and we're commenting on THAT.......

For Pete's sake.................it's a fiction movie. How come Christians don't rise up against all the demonic horror flicks that have been released lately?

Rania:

They do. Maybe not everyone here, but there's a huge Christian movement against stuff like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, ghost flicks, fantasy novels, anime like Evangelion, TV shows like Charmed, political films like V for Vendetta. Frankly, as I can't see how a film like the Da Vinci code is going to disuade a true believer from Christianity and non-believers will just see it as entertainment anyway, I don't know what all the fuss is about. I know the Bible decries witchcraft, but my views on that particular verse re fictitious creations are over in the appropriate thread. l
