Liberals will do anything including lie in order to misrepresent Israel in this latest conflict. If they cannot prove that Israel went overboard, they will just make things up. On the night of July 23, 2006, an Israeli aircraft intentionally fired missiles at and struck two Lebanese Red Cross ambulances performing rescue operations, causing huge explosions that injured everyone inside the vehicles. Or so says the global media, including Time magazine, the BBC, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and thousands of other outlets around the world. If true, the incident would have been an egregious and indefensible violation of the Geneva Convention, and would constitute a war crime committed by the state of Israel.

I don't remember now where I saw it or when but they were showing all the lies perpetrated against the Israeli's and this hoax was one they were showing..

It was probably a show on fox news...

I have decided that the best thing to do is not to believe anything that comes out of the liberal media until it is proven...

so many lies to deceive and sway men's hearts toward evil...

This......is just mind blowing!!! I don't usually put much stock in 'conspiracy theories.' Generally because they contain too little HARD evidence, and far too much bias and personal feelings on the part of the theorist(s).

However, in this case the pictures speak for themselves, as do the FACTS. I highly recommend everyone to check this out and tell as many people as possible about it!

It is a scathing expose' of the liberal media, and it's anti-Isreal slant on news and events from that region.

I knew it was bad, but this opened my eyes even more than before.

For the record, the photo(s) in question were not "doctored" per se. They were simply a lame attempt to blame Israel for what they did not do, and the Liberal media, always ready to slam Israel took the lie and ran with it, without sufficient investigation. Do you notice that it is NEVER a Liberal that finds these things. It is other people who put more thought and research and investigation into the matter that discovered the truth.

The Liberal media ran with this hoax as if it were fact. Remember: When a Liberal tells you they have "facts," just recall all of the "facts" they have had that have proven to be outright lies, and complete hoaxes that are custom made for gullible people.

The very fact that the Hizbollah camp had to resort to such tactics as this, and the fact that the Liberal media always sees a need to doctor photos as they have on other occasions, only proves the weakness of the claims that Israel was "over reacting" in their responses to acts of terrorism.

It is not just the Liberal media like CNN, and other outlets in the US that are the problem. The whole world is being duped by CNN, the BBC, Reuters, The Guardian and other anti-Israel, anti-America media outlets who continually twist the facts especially as they relate to Israel.

The media is extremely unfair to Israel. They attempt to rewrite history, and in doing so, misrepresent the history and dynamics of the conflict Israel is subjected to.

Liberals see the Israeli/Palestinian conflict as war between two morally equivalent entities, both with legitimate and illegitimate "gripes" with each other, and that is simply not true. The liberal media all over the world perpetuates that myth. This is not about Land or about "living in peace." Arafat stated before the whole world, "Peace for us, means the destruction of Israel." The PA, every Arab/Muslim terrorist entity, and indeed the entire Arab world has never changed or deviated from that position, to this day. This is not about Israel vs. the Palestinians, or Israel vs. Lebanon/Hizbollah. This is a continuation of a war that Israel has had to fight since May 15th 1948. It is a war against the entire Arab world that funds, trains and arms terrorists in a war of attrition against Israel. The Palestinians are just hapless pawns of the Arab world.

We have been constantly fed the lie that this is a conflict that can be solved with patient negotiations, as if the PLO, Hamas, or Hizbollah are reasonable people ready to listen to sweet reason. When one examines the true history and dynamics of this conflict, one can see why the Liberal position on this conflict is a product of historic illiteracy.

I don't think anyone would deny that the media does what it does for the most part for money and ratings. Ratings are their bread and butter. No ratings, no job; no job, no pay. That is pretty much where they stand.

However ratings have nothing to do with the manner in which the conflict with Israel is covered. Case in point: The Gaza beach bombing just last June. It was immediately reported that Israel had dropped bombs on an innocent Arab family in Gaza. As long as the bombing could be pinned on Israel, the media was all over the story and calls for investigations were ubiquitous, and outcries of war crimes, and atrocities were coming from all directions.

When subsequent investigations proved that it was Hamas, and NOT Israel that was responsible, the media dropped the story, and moved on. Funny how when it was proven that Hamas was indeed responsible, Kofi Annan and Co., CNN, MSNBC, The BBC, The Guardian, Reuters, Amnesty International, etc. no longer called for "justice" and all of a sudden no one cared about the tragedy this Gazan family was suffering. No justice was going to be exacted from Hamas for their responsibility in this atrocity against one of their own families. When Israel was no longer to blame, the story went away, and this poor family was left to suffer alone. There were no Gen Assemblies called for this atrocity. Had it been Israel's fault, the UN would have published yet another resoultion condemning Israel's actions.

Another case involves the "humiliating Israeli checkpoints" the media has always crowed about. They complain that Palestinians are humiliated by having to lift up their shirts and empty their pockets and prove that they are not carrying bombs or bomb-making materials as they enter Israel. At the same time, the media omits the fact that Israeli Jews are searched every time they enter a bank, or government building. In many cases they are searched before entering schools, boarding planes, and entering shopping centers. Israeli Jews have had their cars searched on a regular basis before being allowed to park in public areas like shopping malls and such. No complaints from the Liberals that the Jews have to be "humilated" as well. According to them, its only the Palestinians that are treated this way.

They also omit the Palestinian checkpoints erected in Gaza used to extort money from their fellow Palestinians, at gunpoint. You can be killed at these checkpoints depending on the mood of the person manning it. These Palestinian checkpoints even have boys as young as ten carrying machine guns. Isn't it interesting that this makes it past the Liberal media. I have to go to conservative media outlets to actually find out what is going on.

The Liberal media complains about Israel's security fence, trying to compare it to "apartheid" which is an absurd comparison, in which there is no similarity. It is an attempt to make Israel appear racist, yet when other countries such as Saudi Arabia and India erect security fences to keep terrorists from neighboring countries from entering Saudi Arabia or India undetected, no one complains. Only Israel is painted as racist for restricting access to their country in an attempt to curb terrorist attacks.

None of that biased treatment has anything to do with ratings or money. This is just business as usual. It's the standard MO for the media concerning Israel. The Liberal media holds Israel to a standard it does not hold other countries to. They have a clear doublestandard where Israel is concerned, and leads us right back to their willingness to suck up the story about the ambulance in the OP. It is so typical of their lack of research and their readiness to believe anything negative about Israel no matter how absurd, or untrue it is. Israel is guilty until proven innocent in the Liberal media world.

That said, my only problem with Israel during this recent war has been their "sometimes" excessive use of defensive force. Please, please, please note the "sometimes" in that sentence before jumping on me. Thank God that Israel is better equipped to deal with such attacks because they have to be. Israel has always remained been a marked target over there. But there is a fine line in rightfully defending one self and attacking too quickly and too aggressively in areas where it's known that civilians will most heavily populated. I honestly feel that with technology and training that they possess they could have more carefully selected and executed their defense and spared some of the devastation and civilian loss within Lebanon.

I think it needs to be added that "civilian" does not equal "innocent." Hizbollah fighters, by definition, are civilians. That is the problem. When the "civilian" casualties are recorded, the distinction is not made between the truly innocent, and those civilians who were killed either committing acts of terrorism (Hizbollah), or aiding the terrorists by allowing their homes and neighborhoods to be used as staging areas for attacks on Israel. So, the civilian casualty rate is artificially inflated by including the number of civilian Hizbollah fighters, and their supporters killed by Israel, in the civilian death toll.

By allowing the terrorists to use their homes and streets as areas from which to launch attacks on Israel, the "civilians" made themselves legitimate military targets and in doing so bear the moral responsibility for any truly innocents that were brought into harm's way by their actions.

Innocent people die in war. That is something that will never change unless we start fighting our wars on Mars. Israel cannot be expected fight a sanitary war, free of any innocents getting caught in the middle. No expectations are made of other nations in this regard.

One of the reasons Israel showed so poorly in this conflict was their reluctance to use the full weight of their military might against Hizbollah for the express reason that Hizbollah had put so many innocents in danger, by creating blockades that prevented anyone from leaving. I was precisely because of Israel's concern for the innocents that many Hizbollah rocket launchers could not be destroyed. Far from going overboard, Israel is the only country in the Middle East that does not engage in indiscriminate targeting. While the terrorists consistently target innocents wherever they can be found, and purposefully endanger the most vulnerable members of Israeli society, Israel does not react in kind. Israel does not respond in tit for tat military tactics. For example, if the Palestinians place a bomb in an Israeli supermarket, Israel does not respond by bombing a Palestinian supermarket. Israel simply goes after the perpetrators of the crime.

Yes there are innocents that sometimes do get killed. The death of innocents does not translate into "excessive force." It usually translates into "human shields" which the terrorists always make sure are in ready supply when Israel responds. Innocents are used as propaganda points by the PA, Hamas, and Hizbollah. That is how they get the media and the international community to sympathize with them.

The destruction in Lebanon is not near as bad as it could have been. The fact that pictures were doctored and hoaxes were perpetrated demonstrates that it was felt necessary to inflate the level of damage in order to get the maximum impact. If Israel's actions were as destructive as it is made to appear, there would be no need to inflate civilian death counts (such as did the leaders of Lebanon), or create hoaxes, or intentionally mislead the media as Nick Robertson of CNN finally admitted. It is precisely because of Israel's concern for the innocents that more innocents were not killed. It is also that concern for the moral high ground, that in part, lost them the conflict. Israel was simply not willing to play by Hizbollah's rules, or use their tactics.

I am well aware of who the real bully has always been in the Middle East -- it's the Anti-Christian extremists who seek to destroy Israel because as a whole Israel has never wavered that is stands for Christ.

River, Israel is a Jewish state. Israel is not a Christian state. It is not "anti-Christians" who seek to destroy Israel. It is the entire Arab/Muslim world that refuses to live in peace with Israel and it is the greater Arab/Muslim world that supplies, funds and trains the Palestinians to be terrorists. The Arab world is using the the Palestinian people as a weapon against Israel. Israel is a country of 6 million Jews surround by nearly 600 million Arabs. Israel is one nation surround by 22 Arab nations all of whom seek Israel's destruction. This is not a land squabble. The Arabs have more Land than anyone on the Planet and could easily carve out of their Land a nation for the Palestinians whom they made refugees in the first place. Instead the force the Palestinians to remain refugees while the spin their history reivisionism in an attempt to blame Israel for the sad state in which the Palestinians find themselves. This is a fight for Israel's survival.
