Hello,

I have been looking at different colleges to attend. I have found one that I think is very good for me. The only thing is their religion affiliation is Weslyan and I have no idea what "unique" things they believe that set them a part from other sects of Christianity. Could someone please tell me where I can easily find information about Weslyanism that's understandable or give tell me what you know about it? Thank you. GB tc

I suppose it depends on the school. You can't go by denomination. But, Weslyan is good, if that is your concern.

Asbury College, in KY is very good.

Some of my husbands family is Weslyan-and I'll warn you-they are VERY works based, in fact, I doubt that they are even saved. They MUST wear their hair a certian way, only wear dresses or skirts and have sleeves below the elbow. The men cannot wear facial hair and also must wear long sleeves. I'm not sure if all Weslyans are like them-but I certianly cannot reccomend them to anyone who is seeking a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

I don't know all that, but if the OP was asking about what I thinks/he was, then Wesleyen Methodists are heavily Arminian (at least John Wesley was). Take that as you will.
