One thing I would like to point out that is interesting about the microchip is that it uses a lithium battery. The problem with a lithium battery is that it will cause a sore or a boil that cannot heal.

Now read Rev 16:2.....

"And the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a sore and grievous wound was made upon the men who have the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshipped his image."

I've tried to point out passages such as the above and relate it to current events and show people on other non-believing chat boards, but most people do not believe and do not care.

I noticed that it has already been used in the USA.

However, its use in humans has already been trialled in America, where the chips were implanted in 70 mentally-ill elderly people in order to track their movements.

That you used the elderly and infirm is disgusting.

Im not justifying it, but I can understand why it is used on them to begin with. Out where I live, we have elderly alzheimer people who tend to disappear and are later found dead in the desert. Especially in the summer. The environment is far too harsh. It is too hard to find them before they die. I can see why it would be considered desirable to place a chip into elderly infirm people.

I wasn't specific enough in my request, but thanks for that link.

I guess what I was asking for was:

A. Some sort of link that describes how lithium batteries cause permanent boils and/ or sores, and how they would differ from the sores and/ or boils which other types of batteries may cause.

B. Some sort of link which proves that the permanent sores/ boils caused specifically by lithium batteries were the ones that Rev 16:2 was referring to.

C. Some sort of link that proves that microchips are the actual "mark of the Beast" which the Bible talks about in the first place.

Why can't they just wear a bracelet with a GPS unit in it or something, or a brooch (or a badge for the blokes)? Even something sewn into the fabric of their clothes, it is unlikely they're going to take off all their clothes and wander out in the desert.

Personally I would rather lose my elderly relative than have them "tagged" like they were an inanimate object or a cattle-beast.

The thing to remember is that what I posted about the sores/biochip is not an absolute when it comes to the "mark of the beast".

Nobody knows for sure what method will be used for the mark at this time period. We can only speculate with the knowledge currently available.

It is however interesting to see how the prophecies/predictions in the bible seem more and more realistic with the vastly increasing technology we currently have.

Lithium could vary well cause the sores spoken of in the scripture I quoted. Wether or not that is what the scripture is speaking of remains to be seen, but at least we all now know it is capable of happening with that method.

We can search and come to conclusions so quickly these days. I find it wholly possible that the "mark" hasn't even been invented yet, and may not be for a long time.

But, it could be some sort of chip, as well.

Definitive statements and opinions are growing like bacteria these days, in regards to the mark of the beast. Although we should weigh carefully each opinion and match it up with Biblical teaching, we should also remain open to the possibility that we are so far from knowing what it really could be, that we should remain in trust to our Lord to keep us safe.

In other words, it could turn out to be anything, really. Even something we have yet to see.
