Amen. This gives us reason to be confident. I notice that in verse 24, it says the other group had a great reputation as mighty warriors and leaders of their clans. This reminds me of some things that Jesus said about respecting the judgment or opinion of 'men' instead of God - trusting in the traditions, I think. Also so many of the Psalms where David laments the fact that the 'wicked' seem to prevail - these must have prevailed often in the past to have this great reputation - So here also is comfort and confidence that the 'wicked' will not always prevail and that the people of God will be vindicated.
