Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, raised an astounding $6 million and change Sunday, his campaign said, almost certainly guaranteeing he'll outraise his rivals for the Republican nomination in the fourth quarter and likely will be able to fund a presence in many of the states that vote Feb. 5.

People don't like to believe that the privatized media has its own bias (and endorsements). They don't accept that information is both magnified and suppressed by a bias. But drive around and look. Everywhere Ron Paul signs (more than anyone else). Polls (I'm not sure how accurate?) are saying one thing. But follow the grass roots $ trail and you'll see what's happening. The media promotes Huckabee, Giuliani, Mccain, Clinton, etc. and the sheeple follow. The media says Ron Paul has no chance. Swaying peoples minds and demonstrating their influence over the sheeple. America is a dumbed down, easily manipulated and deceived society that is easily influenced in masses (and doesn't think they are). The only hope people have is Jesus Christ.

I have a feeling it will come down to Fred Thompson or Ron Paul. If Fred THompson, the Republicans will lose. If ROn Paul, him and Obama would be one of the most bizzare match-ups that could possibly come out of it.

Grace to you,

Ron Paul will not be the Republican nominee. The only problem with his Candidacy is that it will lead to a third party run. This will bleed off enough votes to leave us with a Liberal Progressive leading the Nation, no matter who the presumptive Democrat nominee is.

This would be a real bad time in our Nations History to have a Liberal Progressive running things. :emot-giggle:

Real change for our Nation doesn't begin with Politics, it begins with the Church and her repentance and returning to God. :emot-giggle:

Peace,

Dave

I completely agree. Ron Paul might not be terribly popular among Republicans but, out of the GOP candidates, he and he alone has enough bipartisan appeal to win a general election.

Anyway, I can't stand the current frontrunners on either side. Rudy and Hillary both make me want to hurl. They are probably more corrupt than anyone else in the bunch.

For the time being Huckabee has my vote. I think Obama will be easy to beat if he wins the nomination, which I hope he does. I am not looking for any kind of "progressive" in the White house. The problem with many of these politicians is that they will say whatever will get them elected. The waffling of Clinton and Juliani are eveidence of this. I wan't someone like Huckabee who is willing to wear his faith(my faith) on his sleeve and put his trust in God.

I just looked at Ron Pauls position on Illegal immigration and I can see why he has such support. His website says he wishes to end "birthright citizenship". He seems to be say what everyone wants to hear only the press is ignoring him for a reason. I can't help but think that if the press is ignoring him he might be worth listening to. CHECK THIS OUT.

I disagree. He's called "Doctor No" for a reason--he's a strict Constitutionalist. Take a look at his Congressional voting record. He opposes pretty much anything not advocated by the Constitution. Immigration would be a gray area, though, since it's not covered therein. I didn't know he thought that way about immigration--thanks for letting me know.

Yeah- like Bush :P (no disrespect only humor intended)

Seriously though, I believe that politicians can easily be a wolf in sheeps clothing when it comes to wearing the cross. Keep in mind "believing" wins votes, ask Bush (candidates are aware of this). He professes faith, but I disagree with his politics. And as far as the press goes, Do you realize newspapers endorse canidates? How can they report without bias when they have a bias? I suspect the polls are construed. I was reading the USA today and on 4A, in a sidenote, was the reporting of Ron Paul's record setting day. Also on 4A was a half page article on Hillary and McCain. Both candidates are endorsed by the Des Moines Register. The owner of the register also owns the USA Today (Gannet, Inc.). To gain our perspectives through the eyes of the mainstream media trusting that the reporting is fair and balanced is disillusional and detrimental to our knowledge if we don't understand underlying agendas exist.

Bush has been a disappointment but I still am thankful that Kerry did not win. Bush was the lesser of two evils and thats the ONLY reason he got re-elected. There is nothing that anyone can say that would make me regret my choice. I hadn't even been saved yet when I voted for him. All I saw was Bush roll his sleeves up ready to get to work while Kerry was flying his hairdresser around to give him high dollar hair cuts while badmouthing the U.S. and talking about an immediate withdrawal of the troops from Iraq.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
