I mean, some people are good at reading body language. Some people are good at "feeling" what another person is feeling. Some people actually do have spiritual insight. Hi tigger, If your asking if a person can have dreams like Joseph, Yes it is possible for God to communicate through dreams. I had a situation when I was younger, where a dear friend moved to P.A, and a couple of years after he moved there; I began having dreams of him returning, I had 3 dreams in a row one each night. Then next thing I know within a couple of months he was standing in front of me, and him and his family had moved back. Guest billieagain Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) Can people sence things about someone or have visions of someone. 1 Corinthians 12:5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. Some people can have this spiritual gift, one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This would pertain to the first part of your question, sensing things about someone. Visions of someone is different. Do you mean someone alive or someone dead? Someone dead I'd be skeptical beacause of this: Deuteronomy 11:10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. It would seem communication with the dead is not allowed for us. Someone still alive, maybe. Joel 2:28 Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. There's no specifications as to what these visions can contain.
