It's a kind of internet reporting device that Google uses to determine what kind of OS you are running and how often you search the net. Also, I think it checks the kind of sites you visit. But unlike some other programs it can be turned off. Similar to the reporting agent in Winamp. I've had the toolbar for a few months and haven't experienced any problems. I tired to download the Hijack Blaster but it is not avalible? The thing is I STILL get pop ups! errrrr ... Though the good news is that the green thingy is Gone! woohoo!!!! "sounds to me like the problem is in your IE registry, probably in a couple of placs in your registry. But I wouldn't go tinkering around in your registry unless you know what you're doing. And I did, about 3 times... and still the ones that they couldn't delete because they were being used STILL didn't get deleted! .... ahhh make sense?
