I often wonder why God inspired the writers to include this in the bible. I agree with some answers here.
I very much strugel with this ,
Gen 6. sons of God, Woman of Men
And Job 1:6 sons of God with satan the devil
Daniel 4:23 Watchman(angels, or sons of god)
I read some very informative info recently with a explantion I really do agree with. How else do you explaine Gen 6 Sons of God and woman and then men of renoun, Giants. So far in 20 years of reading I cant find any other explanation but this,
Sons of God were Gods watchman of the earth and fell from there first estate(guarding the earth) (see book of Enoch).
These angels had power to manifest in human form just as angles today manifest in human form.(cant amagine why)
All the off spring giants/nephulim died in the flood and today are demons. These dead souls dont qualify for Gods same Christ Redemption of Man.
Scripture very clearly discribes demon spirits and devil spirits as 2 different entities.
Mary had 7 devils. Others had demons or posession of.
