  1. On behalf of the families and friends involved, I want to thank you for your prayers and support in this extremely difficult time for us. It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing to tell you that my nephew's wife has passed away. Her passing so quickly was unexpected so you can imagine the pain we are feeling at this time. We know she's in the presence of her Saviour, and we know He is with us and will bring us through as only He can.

Thank you, again, for your prayers. God bless you and your families. We are praying for you too.

  3. I'm writing to give another update about my sister-in-law. She will be released from the hospital and will be going home with hospice care. Since my last post, she has not improved. Please pray for my brother and family as they deal with the inevitable painful days ahead. Thank you for your prayers. God bless you all.

  4. Thank you all so much for your prayers. I thought I'd give you an update. Over the past two days, my sister-in-law was making slight improvements but not enough to upgrade her condition. Today she's in a lot of pain and some of her vitals are not stable. She's being moved from ICU to the hospice in the hospital. Our family appreciates that you're praying and standing with us at this time. God bless.

    Hi everyone,

Just want to thank you all again for your prayers and care. Hubby is now at home, Praise the Lord, and rests a lot, but is so, so pleased to be able to have peace and quiet. We walk a bit in the cool of the evening and family have been visiting. Will take time, but God is the great healer.

    Bless you all, Marilyn.

So good to hear he's home. Blessings to you and your family.

I so want to thank you all for praying. The paramedics came last night and treated him, then took him to the hospital. They are so kind those people coming out in the middle of the night. Trev was given 3 doses of morphine over time for the pain. The gave him a drip and did blood tests. You would all know some of that. A good doctor told Trev that is probably was a brain spasm. We think they `cooked` his brain when they did the ray treatment on his face.

So as many have said, `Looking to the Lord for this trial.`

Thank you all again dear Worthy family.

Marilyn, thank you for this update. Will continue to pray for you and your husband. The Lord is right there with you in the midst of this trial. Keep holding on to Him. Blessings to you and your family.

Praying that God comfort you and your family in this difficult time. But I rejoice with you as he excepted Christ as his savior and is now in a better place.

Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Revelation 14:13  Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Isaiah 57:1-2 The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. 2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

    God Bless,

    Worthy

    Dear Worthy,

Thank you for posting these Scripture verses. I will share your post with my sister and family. My heavy heart was particularly blessed by Revelation 14:13. God bless you :emot-heartbeat:

  12. My family and I thank you all for your prayers.

I have a sad update. My brother-in-law has passed away. He was a much loved member of our family and we miss him so much. At the same time, we take comfort in knowing that he's in the presence of his Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We know there are difficult days ahead, but His promises are true and we know He will sustain us.

Thank you, again, for praying with us. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.  God bless you.

    How's everything going now?

It's not looking good. We know Jesus is in the midst of this situation and He'll see us through, but it's still hard. Thank you to all who are praying. God bless.

  14. I had asked for prayers for my brother-in-law last year. He had stroke-like symptoms and his illness had not been diagnosed. Thank you for your prayers. He recovered enough to go to rehab and then he came home. However, in mid-January, he relapsed and has been in the hospital since. His condition is getting worse. The recent CT scan didn't bring good news. Please remember him and his family in prayers. Today will be a difficult day because his family might have to make some heart-wrenching decisions about his care.

We're praying for you and your needs too. Thank you and God bless.

Apologies for taking so long to respond, but the past few weeks have been challenging. First of all, thank you and everyone else who have been praying for us. All of your prayers have buffeted us and kept our faith strong even in some very weak moments. Here's an update.

My brother-in-law who had the blood clots will continue to be on medication. The doctors still have no idea what caused the blood clots, but he's able to function normally and for that we're most grateful.

My sister-in-law continues at rehab, but the pain is still intense. It will be a long process for her, but she goes forward valiantly in faith.

My sister's dental procedures are almost over and she's managed to come through each one quite well in spite of everything else. My niece's ankle is better, but still quite sore. She didn't break it, but she has a severe sprain. She's due for an MRI, hopefully soon, to see the extent of the damage. She's back at work and hobbling along as best as she can. My brother-in-law with the stroke-like symptoms is still in the hospital. There's still no diagnosis. It's been quite a journey, but I am happy to tell you that today, we think we've turned a corner. It's now three days in a row of good news. He's coherent today and responding appropriately to questions and direction. It's a long story to how we got to today, but we are thankful.

We continue to trust our mighty God and we thank Him for all who are joining us in prayer. Please know that we are praying for you too and your families and your needs. God bless you.

  16. I would like to request prayers for members of my family. My sister has challenging dental problems and her daughter sprained her ankle and is on crutches for the next few weeks. All of this happened while her husband has been in the hospital for a month with stroke-like symptoms, but there's still no diagnosis. He has had a few good days and just when we thought he showed some improvement, he has regressed and we're back to where we started.

Another brother-in-law is being treated for blood clots, but the cause is still undetermined. The doctors are still trying to find the cause of the blood clots, but no answer as yet.

A sister-in-law has had a partial leg amputation and is now being fitted for a prosthesis, but the pain is severe.

All of these folks are Christians, but it's been difficult recently. Your prayers are most appreciated. Thank you for praying. God bless.
