I have 3 friends who are doctors, recently out of med school. The most important thing is your grades. And volunteering wouldnt hurt. If you need the money work somewhere else part time. Talk to your counselor, professors and even dean to pull some strings. Or look online for resources like programs from other schools. Its a grind but youre on the right track. God Bless
