Paul wasn't even a believer and was not present for Ananias and Sapphira

Since God withhold forgiveness should we also withhold forgiveness ? Why or Why Not

    That's not even true

Wondering how much longer this game of I ask questions and you answer will go on?

Obviously, justfaith assumes he has the answers by never answering any questions...at least that is how I perceive it

I thought this was a place to ask questions ? Are you saying that all the questions you ask you have an answer too ?

I ask myself over and over where did God come from ? Is there an answer to that ?

anyway i just ask a question thats all

it was nice chatting with you all

if I knew every thing i will not ask questions

    do you know everything ?

What you did was make a false statement against God and His forgiveness, then tried to play on that.  This is a great place to ask question, when they are not tied to false accusations about God.  God always forgives those who repent and ask for forgiveness.  You should of started by asking does God forgive sins, and then you would not of had to ask the question you asked.  Starting off on a lie never ends well, which is why everyone has been telling you that you are wrong.

Could you explain this verse you seem to know alot

    Judah's Idolatry Persists

16"As for you, do not pray for this people, and do not lift up cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with Me; for I do not hear you. 17"Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Since God withhold forgiveness should we also withhold forgiveness ? Why or Why Not

Why don't you give us your opinion on the subject and open it for discussion that way?

who have you not forgiven as yet and why ?

  4. No, because God never withholds forgiveness, unless we first don't forgive others.  As Kwik-Philly noted God forgive us if we forgive others; but if you don't want God's forgiveness, just hold a grudge against someone.  But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will the Father forgive you trespasses.  Matthew 6:15

God never withholds forgiveness, but we as believers have a tendency to block His forgiveness with our petty angry against others.  I know many will say you don't know the evil this person has done to me, and you are right, but if you are like me, it doesn't matter.  Remember we as Christians have been given the Holy Spirit that make us (our body) the Temple of the Holy Ghost see      I Corinthians 3:16; 6:19-20, this is such a great honor no words can express our gratitude, yet myself and I dare say many if not all believers have a bad habit of dishonoring that Temple in so many ways, how after all my failures can God still love and care for me, yet He does, and all i am asked is to forgive others, as much as I've missed up, this with the help of the Holy Spirit is no problem, but we need the Holy Spirit to help us forgive.

Did paul forgive Ananias and Sapphira

  5. We are called to live our enemy.

Now that doesn't mean that we can not defend ourselves up to and including deadly force if needed.

We are to pray for their change of heart and pray for their conversion. NOT for their destruction.

    Galatians 5:12King James Version (KJV)

12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

  6. We are called to live our enemy.

Now that doesn't mean that we can not defend ourselves up to and including deadly force if needed.

We are to pray for their change of heart and pray for their conversion. NOT for their destruction.

    Acts 13:8-12King James Version (KJV)

But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.

10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

    How readesth thou ?

    I say thou art wrong!

    Matthew 5

43 ¶ You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy."

44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you,

45 so that you may become sons of your Father in Heaven. For He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on thegood, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax-collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax-collectors do so?

48 Therefore be perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

I think I see how our population drops to 69 million....

He asked about praying for the destruction of our enemies. I feel it is best to pray that they stop causing harm and get saved. Not that they are destroyed. That does not mean we get destroyed by refusing to pray that our enemies are destroyed.

too many people I know carry these same thoughts into the realm of protecting ourselves from them.......   It's hard to love and pray for someone who will kill you, your kids and grand kids the first chance they get......     If I am to protect myself, family and friends (including you) from them by force, what's wrong with me asking God to do it for me?    Especially since he's going to do it anyway when he comes back.    Am I expected to stand by and watch them cut of my kids and grand kids heads off before they cut off mine all the time praying for their salvation???

  thats all i am saying  their are times when we are called to the battle not for mercy but for judgement at the day it is God that avenges

  8. Judges 16:28King James Version (KJV)

28 And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

I wonder why God answered Samson and a christian what lesson and hope can a christian have from such account ?
  9. Hi Justfaith. In a plain and simple way i'll explain how this verse , Luke 18:1-8 has related in my own life.

I had an ongoing case in my life that was harsh and unfair. Like the widow i did not give up. I wanted justice and i wanted God to be my judge and decide my case for me. The widow, although kept being refused did not give up and wanted justice so the judge who was not even a man of God eventually avenged her case so the widow would no longer trouble or tire him. When we want something, justice according to God's will, we must not give up and we must be determined and keep fighting for what is right. This has nothing to do with revenge but making right what was wrong. I hope the way i've put this across makes sense. I was up against a situation in the natural where i could have failed in my case but i persevered and kept fighting and with God as my judge and praying for his help in my case He made me to come through.

"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" Matt 19:26.

      I speak from  experience

To all that say if we ask God to get people sick and stuff is a lie

A married women tried to drailed my friend  and he  will do like Joseph and run but the woman said that she has made other christians fall and without regret

So he I went to the Lord what was the out come everytime that lady came aroud him and tried seducing him  she will get ill for days until they got weary of him not wanting to do what they wanted

  10.

And what about the Christians who are being crucified, beheaded, literally cut in half, being tortured and hunted down like animals over there in Iraq??   "Love" means leaving them to be the victims of ISIS?

We pray for God's will to be done, and seeing as though we don't know what His will is in this regard, we leave the "vengeance" (you know the scripture), to Him.

leaving vegence to God means not actually killing someone but nothing is wrong asking God to kill them

  11. Jesus taught us to Love.

We do not serve a God who reacts to our wants of revenge or insecurity, who answers our prayers for death and illness on others!

Who is Jesus to you? Who do you profess Him to be in your life?

What is the bible to you? What does it mean in your life?

And some advice, you are never going to engage in an active debate if all you do is answer every post to you with another question.

Please answer my two easily answered questions, and try to be direct in your answers.

Please explain this verse if what thou sayesth is true ?

Luke 18 King James Version (KJV)

    18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

    And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Now ,I find it difficult to believe that you would want anyone to have an illness or be killed, what if that person were not yet saved.?....Is what has been done to you warrant eternal torment & hellfire?Don't you remember the time before you were Saved, have you never did anyone an injustice?

This just is not Scriptoral, justfaith,,,,,,firstly we do not fight against flesh & blood, secondly we are supposed to pray for our enemies & thirdly we must forgive others as we want to be forgiven....

Jesus sacrificed His very own sinless Body in place of you ,me & all those sinners out there that are our enemies,,,,,we have no idea who will come to the foot of the cross but I am glad I did and nI gwas not an enemy to be reckoned with before I came to Jesus on my knees,I was not always kind & considerate,,,,I was a filthy, wretched, evil mess ,,,,,,,,,,,& I am forgiven       Glory to God!

What if the person is doing witch craft on you what will yoou do ?

  15.

Many christians believe that it is a sin to pray that God destroy their enemies or in other word to kill them

I am of the view there are times when you must pray against your enemies that God will destroy them from the face of the earth or get them sick etc

Archangel is a specific title that means more than just messenger (angel). Jesus can act as a messenger of God but archangel is used of Michael and Gabriel specificly.

I looked up archangel and found the following definition using blue letter bible.

    Outline of Biblical Usage
    1. archangel, or chief of the angels

Angel in Hebrew means messenger. So by extension, and archangel would be the chief of messengers. Could that term be used for Jesus?

Where does it say that Gabriel is an Archangel ?

"clothed in the sun" could also be interpreted as being wrapped in God's righteous judgement and the in the light of His government. In 2 Sam 23:4, King David emplifies this type of government:

2Sa 23:3-4 KJV - The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

    - And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.

Why is the woman standing on the moon ?

I find it interesting that you see her as "standing" on the moon.

The KJV just says "with the moon under her feet". I'm finding it difficult to determine if:

    a. she is standing on the moon, like as a foundation; or,

    b. she is standing on it as the moon is subordinate to her.

I think the bigger question is "What is the moon representing?"

Being that this seems to be a celestial vision, there have been those that believe the woman was the constellation Virgo. That some cataclysmic event would take place when Virgo was over the moon, during the day ("clothed with the sun").

Honestly, though, I don't know. I think understanding what the moon is in this vision is key to unlocking much more.

I will go with b the moon i think is darkness in which the church got the victory over

  18. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17King James Version (KJV)

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

  19. Blessings justfaith

As we read in Gods Word we can safely say that mans spirit is eternal, where that spirit will spend eternity is the question,,,,,not "if"......Hall is not saying God "cannot",,,,,God will have Mercy on who He will have Mercy on,there is nothing that He cannot do,,,,,,but He will not because He said He will not,,,,,He said that all the wicked will be tormented in hellfire for eternal punishment, not because He cannot obliterate them into nothingness but because it is His Will,,,,,,,,,,                                               With love,Kwik

Where in the bible it says man spirit is eternal ?

  20. "clothed in the sun" could also be interpreted as being wrapped in God's righteous judgement and the in the light of His government. In 2 Sam 23:4, King David emplifies this type of government:

Why is the woman standing on the moon ?

  21.

Why has God allow the devil to continue ?I believe that God could take Satan out anytime he chose and stop all this madness when satan sin in heaven first why did God allow him in the garden of eden and not prevent him from going there  Why has God allow the devil to continue ?  Why did not God kill the devil the moment he sin ?

As Rustyangel mentioned he cannot be killed because he is immortal. He continues because he is allowed to as we humans are the mediators of a celestial war. We are created mortal beings who will be superior to angels in the spirit one day. Everything is as it should be, God's timing is perfect...

Are you saying God created something that cannot die  or that God cannot destroy ?

    Was man created eternal ?
