  1. 9 He answered, “You must go now, Daniel, because these words are to be kept secret and hidden until the end comes. 10 Many people will be purified. Those who are wicked will not understand but will go on being wicked; only those who are wise will understand. Excellent Verse here explaining the meaning of this Prophecy given to Daniel. (1) Many People will be Purified (we know both Jew and Gentile can be Saved) (2) Those who are wicked will not understand but will go on being wicked; (We have excellent viewpoint of how the Pharisees were in the time with Christ continued to the Apostles and continued to their end in 70 A.D.) (3) only those who are wise will understand. (Matthew 24: 15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) So the secrets being discussed, that Daniel could not be involved with, included what we discover from the Words of Christ here in Daniel Chapter 12. We see the plan to destroy the Temple, End Daily Sacrifice because the Lamb would present <Many People will be Purified> Daniel's Prophecy goes beyond the Destruction of the Temple, it tells us the Sacrifice would be in place to end the Daily Sacrifice. So we have direct connection to the Cross at this Moment in Chapter 12.
  2. Since Daniel was very good at leading the readers, focusing on the important issue that we now read inspired by his visions, we aren't at a loss what Daniel is conveying here. In 167 B.C., a pig was sacrificed upon the Alter of God. 175 +/- years later Christ is born. 33 years later, Christ is telling us the Abomination is coming when the Temple is destroyed. WE KNOW that Christ said Daniel would be fulfilled knowing as God, 175 years earlier, a pig was offered up, and Christ said nothing of that being the actual Abomination. So if you believe the Antichrist is going to offer something upon the Alter of God, something uncleaned in the form of a pig was offered before Christ's First coming. Clearly the Antichrist is not offering up some fantasy unclean beast. That already happened before the Antichrist was ever described about 200+ years later. Daniel told us it was the End of Daily Sacrifice, not some unclean offering.
  3. It does matter in the fact Jews were Chosen People and this was God's Mercy upon them. He was Ending the Law they still covet more than God Himself. The Jews were taught <hard lessons> for their Rebellion throughout their history, This was no different. And that is why some Jews who understand why the Desolation happened, because they are now Messianic Jews who can clearly see Daniel's Prophecy fulfilled.
  4. Add <INVENT> to that (I will correct) I combined what is to Invent while thinking about the Event to this post of yours: My Apology! 2 hours ago, dad2 said: No. You do not get to invent what the abomination of desolation spoken of by Jesus and Daniel is. Whatever it is, it will stand in that holy place at that end time. The days from when it does till the end are given. That was not in 70ad or whatever. Period. Yeah, He absolutely knew and warned them this would take place in their lifetimes. He just didn't give out the details that were specific because, like most prophecies, the reader/hearer would deceive ourselves and not be alert for His every Movement. But they listened and the Judeans were basically all saved hiding in the hills. Theoretically that is True, but the majority of the Jews and still to this day don't believe it. But they do believe their Temple does not exist, the Altar is not in use, Daily sacrifice is not taking place. We're, the Jews, believe they are suffering from the Abomination of Desolation. The Abomination of Desolation and the Antichrist are not the same entity. And the effects affect different Tribulations. What a beautiful prophecy! And arms shall stand on his part, = Rome's Military and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, = Rome's Military have invaded the Holy Holies and destroyed all Altars for Sacrifice and the Temple itself. and shall take away the daily sacrifice, = Altars are Destroyed and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. = been that way since 70 A.D.
  5. Do you even remember what you respond and then I answer before just offering this in return? You know what we're discussing, and if you did have sudden short term memory loss, you could flip back a couple pages and see what we are discussing. The topic specifics You do know before Christ died and resurrected and it became part of His Gospel, God dealt with the Jews by Temple/Sanctuary/Daily Sacrifice? That suddenly ended in 70 A.D. Prophesied by Christ sitting in front of the Temple itself quoting Daniel in Matthew 24. The Abomination happened, Daily Sacrifice Ended, Desolation is all that is left. What is Desolation? des·o·la·tion /ˌdesəˈlāSH(ə)n/ Learn to pronounce noun a state of complete emptiness or destruction. ^ Just like the Temple and the Altar exists to this very day (1. a state of complete emptiness or destruction.) or better defined as <Desolation>
  6. What is to <invent>? Daniel tells us the Abomination is no longer able to offer Daily Sacrifice. It's important enough, he mentions it in 3 separate Verses. Christ outside the Temple tells His Followers this building will crumble brick upon brick and be destroyed. Christ then tells us it relates to Daniel's Prophecy. Daniel's Prophecy is when the Temple is destroyed, there is no longer a place for Me to forgive you (from God's point of View) because no Altar = No Daily Sacrifice! That is an Abomination to take place and Desolation to fill the void afterwards.
  7. Daniel speaks three times about Ending Daily Sacrifice. That's as important to Paul telling us those <Who Remain> until the Coming of the Lord. The Ending of Daily Sacrifice from a Jewish point of view means how do I get my sins cleaned if (1) No Temple, (2) No {Altar} for Sacrifice unto God, (3) No more Daily Sacrifice to cleans my sins. That puts the State of Israel under Abomination and continued Desolation because it continues to follow the Law.
  8. See the words you darkened and now read the words in Verse 11 you did not darken, <that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away> The whole Verse is speaking about <that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away> When the Temple was destroyed, <that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away> the abomination took place, and the desolation has been sitting there ever since that moment around 70 A.D.
  9. Verses 1-16 tells us the first Tribulation is about the Temple being destroyed and the AoD of Daniel and the people who are Judeans is warned to hide because this is where the prophecy of Luke comes into play about the Destruction of Jerusalem where the Gentile trodden. Verse 16 tells us who Christ is giving this Warning to: 16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: This happened in 70 A.D.
  10. You are mixing up two separate periods of Tribulation Christ forewarned about. One in 70 A.D. will be nothing like the one we could actually experience in our lifetime.
  11. Agreed, it most certainly does tell us that. But it is about the Coming of the Lord, which whenever the term <Coming> is referred, it normally is accepted as the one and only Second Coming of Christ.
  12. I definitely can find that view agreeable
  13. I never said what happened in 70 A.D. was Revelation 16 and the Wrath of God. But I do find it ironic that the biggest Verse used for pre-trib rapture is proceded by and followed by 2 separate Verses claiming <We who are (alive and REMAIN> we be caught up at the COMING of the Lord. The Coming of the Lord has always been associated with the Second Coming. But these Verses tell us we REMAIN until the Second Coming. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Paul is clear by telling us Twice we Remain until the Coming, or the Second Coming of the Lord!
  14. The Wrath of God that Revelation Chapter 16 Verses 1-14 explain the Beginning of the Wrath of God till Second Coming in Verse 15. Verse 16 takes us to Armageddon for more Wrath of God. That is yet to come for us. But in 70 A.D., a prophecy made some 37 years earlier by Christ Himself, that the Temple of God would be destroyed and that Daniel's Prophecy of the Abomination of Desolation would take place. Christ literally begins in Verse 2 having His audience look at the Holy Temple and then told them it would fall and crumble and Daniel's Prophecy would be fulfilled. And in this Prophecy from Christ, He even tells them how to escape by ordering the Judeans to hide in the hills. <an interesting point about 70 A.D. destruction is that hundreds of thousands of lives were shredded by the Roman Soldiers and the Christians in the hills hiding were basically all SAVED> His Sheep knew His Voice and obeyed. But during 70 A.D., a first Tribulation happens where multiple prophecies were fulfilled from Daniel, Matthew 24, and Luke 24:22 <AoD, Temple destroyed End of Daily Sacrifice, and Jerusalem was trodden by the Gentiles and the Gentiles began their reign over Jerusalem>
  15. Matthew, Mark, and Luke verify one another in the events that have been fulfilled alongside to the events that are still future. And even along the side of history, we have many events accounted for that prove such fulfillment during the first period of Tribulation facing Jerusalem, the Temple, End to Daily Sacrifice (the AoD), and the Gentiles trodding down. But we still have unfulfilled Scripture from those same three Gospels. And best of all, it's not even a preterist point of view.
  16. We read nowhere where God tells the water be full of seed. We only see God said to bring forth, and in return, water brought forth all aquatic life forms. And earth has more detail, but the earth being also full of seed, brought forth life that roots itself into a combination of everything within earth and everything within water. Anyone remotely interested in wondering why God chose this direction would be willing to try and discover the multitude of microorganism in both earth and water. And this type of Study is Scientific, but it remains, to the Truth of God's Word.
  17. Luke 24:22 discusses what Rome did to Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Ever since then, the City of Jerusalem being conquered and Seized by Rome in 70 A.D., the Gentiles were Trodden down Jerusalem and have since then. But when Jerusalem became rights to Israel again, because the Victories of its military, The End of the Gentile Reign took place. You clearly have a view of Matthew 24 that it is in question to what's actually being said here in Luke Verse 22.
  18. Had no idea there was such a cult tied to a real comet occurrence. But the technology is so advanced, this meteor turning into a fireball was caught on every type of security device. That knowledge is a real tool during Tribulation. And fits prophecy about knowledge increasing, prophecy watching for specific things (Matt 24). And then seeing it from all of these angles, it's easy to see how when Christ Returns, the grand Event will be tremendous and no mistake about what it means. But this happening and what it might be revealing to us, like for example nothing can be hidden, might be something to consider. And it still shakes me a bit when I figured it was traveling West to East. Something billions will see from those videos going viral and be witnesses to. And it's possible, only very few might be considering it for what it could mean in relationship to the Order of things unfulfilled.
  19. There is no such meaning of your post that pertains to Verse 22. And you asked which Verse held to the prophecy of a city mentioned, not a state.
  20. I only follow what I believe was revealed to me. I completely believe in the Word of God and these few Verses have opened my eyes to something I was unaware of before. I even saw this is my understanding of Creation. God's Word is the only thing true. Which is why the Verses I posted are true, because these are God's Words. And within those Words from God, He explains that when He [Commanded] the waters to bring forth, the waters brought things that only can live in the water. When God told earth to bring forth, it already had seeds because another verse on Day 3 explains the earth was already filled with seed <12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.>. This tells us, when the Spirit of God appears in Genesis 1:2, and He is already observing earth that is void and under water but in this condition whose seed was in itself, after his kind. Naturally leaves to the question, (what action by God already taken place that earth arrives to the Condition in Verse 2) where God then moves in to have a <closer> look at His Plan unfolding, and Earth and Water already are full of the seeds to life. From In the Beginning, nothing exists, space is not even relevant yet, first time God Spoke... to earth is void and under water but already full of the seeds of life, that would be something I would love to know. But it does appear that when God Spoke, before anything was in existence, when His Words Erupted, He specifically explains in Genesis 1:1 <God's creation of the heavens and the earth.> From the Torah (When king James oversaw this Bible, He uses a lot of Catholic corrections you don't find in the Hebrew). But He mentions heavens before earth. So it is easy to see He made the Universe in His Commands we are not yet aware of. And we can almost visualize with our minds, God looking into nothing but Seeing His Own Vision about to unfold, He Speaks into complete nothingness, His very Sound from Speaking His Command, would shake up and erupt the nothingness to become this volcanic flow of space we can <now> observe through satellite pictures. And then in order, God arrives to a earth that is void, under water, but full of the seeds to life whose seed was in itself, after his kind. And He did this in the space of time it would take in His Command to [Let there Be Light]. Immediately, the Light came on and He saw that it was good! Immediately, He Spoke and the Universe in its complete vastness came into being and clearly He Saw that it was good! But to the seed of life in Man, He breathed into a form full of earth that holds the very seeds of life, theoretically.
  21. Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. This portion of the Verse is the actual prophecy concerning (only) the City of Jerusalem and (not) the State of Israel: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
  22. The one example I do find that can be similar to a Scientific explanation from the bible itself would be when God told (1) And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, Is this telling us the water understood God and then read God's mind and intent and filled the waters with (creation) apropiate to aquatic lifestyle? (2) And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. Is this telling us earth understood God and then read God's mind and intent and filled the earth full of cattle, reptiles, mammals and sort? (3) But it changes up here: and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. God directly tells the open firmament to bring forth fowl. Before, in the first 2 examples, God tells the land and water to bring forth and then we read on and see what was brought forth. But in the 3rd example, God is identifying what creation He wants to come forth before Commanding, "Do!" But the purpose I find most informative, is "both" the earth and water knew what to bring forth. I believe this Verse explains that a bit more. 11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. To begin with, there are no verses telling us what the "Specific Command" from God spoke forth the Order to, Go and make earth into a sphere that is void, under water, and whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: So the earth, when we see the Spirit of God come upon the face of the deep (water), is already full of seed of all sorts of life forms. These range from flowers, trees, grasses, bushes, weeds. And we see earth is capable of bringing forth mammals, reptiles, rodents, multitude of insects. And then God uses earth full of these (seeds), to create man, by forming man from the earth itself. Those few examples are loaded with reasons why anyone including Science, should want to study God's Creation from the earth and water point of views.
  23. I firmly believe this and hinted at earlier in response to the Thread Op. The Prophecy was solely about Jerusalem, not the State of Israel, and still in 1948 Israel became a recognized State on a worldwide scale.
  24. Something rather amazing and it is off Twitter, but seen flashing across the skies of Texas was a Meteor literally becoming a <fireball>. What's interesting about this due to modern technology, there are literally 10 plus videos from personal security devices, the earth cameras that are set up to spot anything unusual from the view covering downtown Dallas, Texas from a massive tower platform, and then the most amazing video comes from Norway. In this video, you actually see the meteor/fireball coming at you so you are well aware this Star travels WEST to EAST, just opposite of Matthew 24 (Christ telling us His Second Coming would be preceded by a streak of light), which this Texas Meteor/Fireball looks like a giant lightning bolt)) to Christ's Second Coming travelling East to West. Wonder if the Man of Sin is introduced from a bolt of lightning West to East opposite of Christ East to West (but not listed in Scripture as being such, although Christ did say He saw Satan falling like a streak of lightning)? I just typed <twitter: meteor/fireball across north texas>
  25. If God is going to have WRATH upon the people of Israel during the Great and Final Tribulation, Israel has to be an established body full of people. If out of a TOTAL of 14 million Jews today, 9 million+ currently are already in Israel, what is left to gather? The other 5 million have it made in the USA and have no desire to relocate back to their Homeland.
