Exactly! We cannot "assume" anything. That is why we search our heart, to know how He would judge us. And if our heart condmens us , then get RIGHT! And then you will be ready to meet Him

If you are implying that Paul was only speaking to those in his presence at that time, then you would have to follow that line of thinking all through the New Testament and none of it would be relevant to us today. If that were true then Paul and those he was talking to would have been caught up because he said "we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds". But, it is not true that he was only speaking of them. The fact is , the Bible is our guide in every situation today and is to be applied to every part of our lives. WHEN shall we "----be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air---" ??? Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Since no one knows, then be ready to meet Him now and it will not matter when it happens!!

I believe as the Bible says: 1 Thessalonians 4 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

(Isaiah 66:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock; and dust shall be the serpents meat, they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord) During the mullinium there will be peace even among the animals who are normaly enemies at this time. What a day that will be when Jesus reigns.
