  1. I understand the validity of the Spirit in People inspiring them to prove the inerrancy of the bible. I also understand the need. To say that the word of G_d (the bible) is 100% accurate 100% of the time, I cannot witness to. I can, however testify to my own sin clouding my judgment often, and causing me to have painful misunderstandings that sometimes have taken years for my merciful, patient, and long suffering King to clear up in me. I must say that usually it is through the bible that I finally understand what he was trying to tell me. And usually he is showing me my misunderstanding about what he was trying to tell us in the bible.
  2. Sorry to jump in on this deep topic with such a small opinion, but I think it is important as it is my belief that my viewpoint is Holy Spirit inspired. Believe it or not, some believers do not concern themselves with the inerrancy of the bible. I happen to be one of them. The thing that concerns me is if I am able hear and understand the voice of my King speaking through my sin and pride filter. TWOE
  3. No problem. Hey everyone...? Try Ezekiel 37. We are here. TWOE
  4. By the way, we hold a bible study as well, and it never sounds like this thread Proverbs 13:9-10 9 The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out. 10 Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
  5. Yes, you are indeed blessed in that you're interested in doing that. But that isn't what the thread is about. Even those husbands who have wives who like to lead home Bible studies for the family, that doesn't make them a pastor. And a husband and father who leads home Bible studies isn't a pastor either. It makes him a good father who likes to study the Bible with His family. You said bible study, I didn't. I said ministry, We hold a sabbath service every week.
  6. I know that the Holy Spirit has not had me adhere to a Mormon doctrine. As to whether or not they are going to be in heaven though, is not a concern to me. I trust G_d has their individual eternity figured out. I must say though, that if G_d presents me with an individual whom the Holy Spirit inspires me to believe they are in error, I trust the spirit to deal with them accordingly. P.S. The conversations never end with me regretting that I did or didn't say something. I just trust the Holy Spirit used me at His pleasure. TWOE
  7. I guess I'm blessed. Not only am I blessed with a home ministry, but my wife enjoys my leadership and teaching through the Holy Spirit. She encourages me and loves to hear me speak about the word of the Lord. Near as I can tell, so do my children. The responsibility to preach and teach she has left up to me. I do pray for those who have to deal with these kinds of issues though. TWOE
  8. maybe. TWOE
  9. I guess one day we will all find out won't we. TWOE
  10. I personally have never felt a to heavy of a burden to try and figure out if I am "saved" or not. Yes I have entertained the question, but for the most part the Holy Spirit has always had me focus on Christ crucified on the cross, repentance for my sin against G_d, and living my life in obedience to his law. I trust salvation will take care of itself through these things. But if it is hell for me, I would deserve it. TWOE
  11. Probably not the answer your looking for but; Matthew 18:20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 23:8-10 8"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.
