  1. Hi Kat God is just but not cruel. - It would be cruel of God to drag people out of hell and put them into heaven, becasue they hate God so much. It would also mean that God would be taking away a persons freedom to choose between God or self. a god so cruel as to burn people for all eternity. - Hell is the absence of God. People choose it, God does not send them there. He wants to eradicate sin from the universe - He wants lovers who freely choose him (reject sin) rather than robots forced to worship him. I couldn't enjoy heaven knowing there was such a corner, especially if I knew some of my loved ones were there. How could the tears be wiped from my eyes knowing this? If they were gone and not suffering any more, it would be different. - Great questions which I have no answer for. One of the mysteries of God I suppose. Now what about that question I asked you. If this is true then what do these verses mean? Matt 25:41
  2. Hi Dennis Do you have any bible verses to support this? Thanks Steve

  4. Hi I don't think it matters how much stuff you actually have but rather how detached you are from it? Would you really care if it was gone tomorrow or would you be devastated? Liking our stuff too much is a disorder in our souls. By regular alms giving tithing etc and prayer you can begin to overcome this disorder. Thanks Steve
  5. born again - do you mean justified. It is the change from the condition in which we are born, that is from original sin to the state of grace through Jesus or saviour. Sin is really removed and our inner being sanctified and renewed. Thanks Steve
