  1. Rely on God instead of meds? Welcome to scientology.

Oh, do scientologists believe in Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour?

ok pea brain. Is prayer going to cure an infection? or depression? What works for one person dont work for another. You knew that, right? :whistling:

I wouldn't know that much if scientology believes in Jesus Christ as our personal saviour, but I do read reports of a lot of people die because of lack of medical attention while relying on a whole lot of prayer. I guess the dumb ones get to heaven first.

  2. Someone else placed that nonbeliever lable, not me. Probably because I attend a different Jesus believeing church than they do. I also offered contrast opinion to spark interest that likely scared the managment team. That, I chuckle at sheltered people. So, I am not going to bother with that issue, its obvious im not welcomed.

  3. I wasnt going to answer but I notice I was stamped a non believer. I might as well be an atheist, huh? I digress.

What do you mean? Your profile reads 'nonbeliever".

I def believe in Jesus so search me why I am. Someone wanted to feel important. I'm not too worried about it, but it kind of throws people in the trash can you know. Carelessly putting lables on people is the root of rudeness for sure.

Excluding artlady, the people whom I assume art labled athiests, and everyone in the whole wide world, thought these special people can not have everything. Certainly not immortality. Therefore this thread failed.

  5. Appearently believers can. Especially kids who grow up with nut cases that have software that teaches you to live and talk like christ.

No matter where you are at with the Lord, you still have that personal choice. And if you feel abandoned, it is humanly possible to leave the Christ you have been 'taught' about.

  6. i feel sorry for ateam. he has a pretty big chip on his shoulder that someone must have gave him. :emot-pray:

Three. Count 'em, three. Now there are three rude people here so far whom are considered christains.

(note to Frout..praying icons used in this manner are patronizing and disrespects God)

  7. Well, congratulations Ateam! After billions of years you have accomplished the unaccomplishable....by sitting there at your computer, and having the intelligence to use it, you have proven God's existence. How else would you explain the unbelievably complex and unique being known as 'Ateam'? :noidea:

EDIT: Ateam, with manners like that, I give you a prognosis of about half a week.

Looks like glory as well? Like terrorist need Islam to validate their murderous ways, all I need is a christain badge to flaunt around here to validate my rude manner.

  8. This thread is a testament of how rabid christains are still looking for smart people to validate thier claim that there is a god. Billions of years later, still no one can. Get a clue.

Not true. I have lots of proof in my life but each of those proofs is personal, pearls not to be thrown to those whose only objective is to trample them into the mud.

Your pearl may not be a pearl if it doesnt test for durability. I would say your pearl must be something else precious yet fleeting. Like a rose.

  9. Welcome, Ateam.

If I am reading it correctly, your post seems to suggest that man created God through the Book of Genesis, and that if people stopped believing in the notion, the idea of "God" would fade, is that your position?

    Thanks in advance,

    t.

Do you believe that the Bible is an extraordinary book? My position of 'The Truth' is that the Bible is a collection of writings of unknown date and authorship rendered into english from supposed copies of supposed originals unfortunately lost.

Nice unbeliever rubber stamp. Quite silly.

  10. Of course, as a Christian, I believe God created the universe and gave us his Son. He did these magnificent things through direct intervention. But the Lord does not normally intervene in this way. Just look at the history of human knowledge. Humans have a habit of assuming things are acts of God until we realize there is a simpler, more down-to-Earth explanation. There was a time when people thought lightning bolts were evidence of ID--that they were being hurled by a god's hand. Then we learned about electricity and meteorology and we scrapped that explanation. ID is a kind of default assumption, not a positive hypothesis or theory. And as a default assumption, it exists only until something better comes along.

    This is incredible insight!

  11. Just because someone tells you that there is a ghost under your bed, and you dont believe it, dosent necessarily make you hard heartedness.

God created Genesis for God to exist. Man created god through genesis. Without man - god would never exist. God is reliant on man to keep him going. When man stops believing, that's when god ceases to exist. This is 2008 not year 8000bc. When will we evolve already? Its really that simple.

Hello and welcome. You didn't really answer the question at all. You seemed to jump to the defensive instead.

I'll bump up a thread called "A Massive Conspiracy Theory" for you to comment on.

My answer was quite clear. I can only show you the dots, madam. You merely have to connect them.

Like a rude person, you redirected me to a speculative parade.
