Don't be discouraged... you are not a psycho because you have this disorder... I know TONS of people with this disorder who have overcome the paranoid thoughts and the depression from taking over their lives. It's okay... just pause and take it one step at a time. I know it's hard and you want to end your life and everything... but think of all the people you'd hurt if you killed yourself now. Jesus knows what you're going through and when you let yourself suffer it kills him. The illness only infuelces your behavior... it doesn't explain it. You could have something so much worse... don't let this get the best of you. I'll be praying for you... don't give up.

cargunie, I had (and in many cases still have) the same problem you do. When you're "the new person" it's often extremely hard to fit in with people who have been friends for a longer period of time. Is there anyone else there who is relatively new to the fellowship??... maybe he or she would be more sympathetic towards you if you are lonely and be more willing to get to know you. If you have only been with fellowship 2 times be patient... you're probably going to fit in sooner or later. I don't think that listening to other people's conversations and interrupting them is cool though. Try not to be forceful in getting to know people... Good Luck! :t:

Wow. I've had flashbacks of my house almost burning down that have kept me paranoid for nights on end... I can't even imagin having flashbacks of nearly being killed. That's trippy. I'll be praying for your mom. Does she know Christ? Maybe if she tries praying everytime she has these overwheling feelings of anxiety and depression it will help her. God Bless. -Joel

Haha, I would either let them rot or crucify them. They should have every right to say how they feel, but no right prevent other people from getting married. They'll probably just get arrested and processed like normal people. Because to chain would require vandalism (puting spikes in the wall), or wrapping a chain around the building, and neither of those are acceptable forms of protest. It also breaks some other regulations and they'll get slapped with those. Good luck with that one... PS: Don't be ignorant and intolerant by doing this or premoting this. I'm not from Canada so I'm just speaking my mind... but I don't think it's illegal to quote bible verses as long as it isn't in an intolarant manner. For example: if some guy on TV or the radio was going off on how all homosexuals are going to hell and how their so "ignorant" and such... I think this is the kind of thing the law is probably supposed to protect. Honestly, in a case like that, I would support the law 100%. Some Christians are so mean and intolorant to homosexuals and I don't think it's cool at all... Jesus would be tolorant and willing to help them and be their friend. He wouldn't tell them to go to hell. By the way... I don't exactly think that crucifying Christians is that tolerant compared to a nonviolent protest. Yes, in a situation like that there would probably be vandalism charges but they aren't killing or hurting anyone.

first of all... i'd like to offer an apology to the moderators. this is my third username on this message board but i'm sticking to this one because i like the username and i have it under a secure email address that i use alot. i don't think the other usernames i've posted as are registered with an email address anymore so i'm not sure if they can be deleted or will go away automatically... or if this is even a problem. second... thank you everybody you have seriously helped me. i'm still having nightmares but i'm far less depressed than i was a week ago. godsmartin you're awsome... if you still want to send me anything by mail feel free to. i'll post more under this name. thank you everybody this message board has been a blessing. -joel
