Im going to preface this song, because I'm likely to take flak for it if I don't (might anyway) But Im going to say, sunday to me, is first and foremost-a day set aside to worship God-but more then that, its also a day to relax, and rest from the week, which is what I think God intended it to be, and I think this song, while its not a song by a "christian" band, but rather a country artist, though I will say from what I hear Craig Morgan is not only a christian-but is fairly outspoken about his faith, which is great, I think this song captures, the essence of what God intended sunday to be-a day to worship God, and relax, and spend time with family and friends, and most importantly, with God. I think to often anymore, we overcomplicate sundays, we legalize it, if your not singing so many songs and going to church for x amount of time, your not worshiping God, or we work so hard to make church go right, or put on such an appearance for it, that we lose focus of what its there for, or were to wrapped up in church politics, or work, or stress over our lives. Instead we need to sit back, relax, throw our worries out the window-and spend it with God and family. [media=]
