"Company to Sell Implantable Chip - A company plans to begin selling a

computer ID chip that can be embedded beneath people's skin, now that the

Food and Drug Administration has said it will not regulate the implant as

long as it contains no medical data. Applied Digital Solutions Inc.

designed the VeriChip - about the size of a grain of rice - to hold

information that could be read with special electronic scanners. The

company has touted the chip as a potential way to hold a person's medical

records or security codes. Applied Digital had held off sales pending

discussions with the FDA of whether an implanted chip would be considered

a medical device. If the chip solely provides identification, it needs no

FDA clearance, the agency confirmed Thursday - advice officials have long

given others developing ID for tracking children, prisoners or workers

with top-security clearances...For now, the VeriChip will bear only an

identification number, said David Hughes of Technology Sourcing

International, a consulting firm helping Applied Digital in its

discussions with the FDA. But that ID code could be cross-referenced with

a database to detail any kind of information. The company said production

would begin immediately. VeriChip emits a radio signal and has been

derided by some for its 'Big Brother' implications. Applied Digital has

said it could prove invaluable in emergency situations when someone is

either unconscious or cannot otherwise give information. VeriChip is

expected to sell for about 赨. A scanner used to read information

contained in the chip would cost between ũ,000 and ū,000. A doctor would

Comments: Get ready for this technology to become so common-place that

even many saints fall asleep at the feet of it. I am now convinced that

when multitudes of Christians disappear, those that claim it was the

prophesied translation (rapture), will be persecuted as "hate mongers" and

"fanatics." We now have technology being launched into the mainstream,

which can fulfill the prophecy in Revelation 13. But how many are

PURIFYING their lives in the face of such stage-setting signs? The purpose

of prophetic study and WATCHING is so we will stir ourselves to make

ourselves READY:

A. How do you know the mark will be a chip?

B. The mark is instituted by the False Prophet, there is no false prophet.

C. The AC is nowhere in sight and won't appear until after the 10 nation Mediterranian Condederacy or Revived Rome appears.

D. The Confederacy won't come into being until there is a major upheaval in Europe. Probably a war. Certainly the EU is a prophetic zero and just like the chip, "NOT IT".

I would say it's all a bunch of hype and nonsense because you are getting way ahead of yourself.

I have seen so many innovations get nominated as the mark, each replaced by a newer technology, none of them correct.

Hey bro cut with all the negitive OK, we are all watchmen and women for the lord, and doing what were supposed to do. Ready the people for the lord. And those people who are left behind, need to have something to start with, and I hope the ones we dont reach today, will find this and other christian chit chat about what we thought at the time was worth reporting.Mabey they will have a better understanding of the mark, cause a lot of us wont be around for that. Wrong Job.

First of all if you don't KNOW the chip will be the mark Christians have no business saying it will be the mark. You rambled about a lot of things, none of which make sense. Those left behind will not be left behind because of ignorance. I don't know of 1 person that has not heard of Jesus and does not know of Jesus. I know a lot who reject Jesus. Right after the rapture most folks will know and they won't need a website.

The only job the Church has that I know is to spread the gospel.

Exactly, Joe!  No one is going to care about chips or beast marks during or immediately after a world war.  How easy it will be to get the world to accept peace at any cost when they are not thinking about anything except war and peace.

You also mentioned a key item. People will desire peace.

Nobody desires peace right now. Jews want to kill Palestinians, Palestinans hire children to bomb Jews.

Americans are attacking Moslems in Afghanistan and keep threatening Saddam. Saddam threatens everyone.

Indians and Pakistanis are toe to nuclear-tipped toe.

Ditto for China and Taiwan.

Africa is on fire and those not being killed by bullets and hunger die of AIDS.

Who cares about a chip when bullets and bombs are flying all over the place?

We are some time away from the rapture and the tribulation.

First things first.

A nice bloody war.

THEN, when most of the world's industry is destroyed, ships sunk, people dead, we are expected to believe that some nutcase is going to come along and install a world-wide tracking system and what not.

Yea. Right.

They will be lucky to find enough ink for tattoos and some folks will just have to settle for scars.
