Has anyone here or someone you know ever come to hear of deep healing? Time ago I came across this, and it seems quite effective. To avoid any association to possible new age or nonbiblical stuff that might carry the same name, it is a method used to get one pretty much completely cleansed of any any demonic influence. There's a book written about it by Charles H. Kraft called 'Defeating Dark Angels'.

I am no expert in this, but the basics are that all the spirits are first of all told the rules they must obey, because it is done in Jesus' name and they too must bow before His Name, wanted they it or not. They are not allowed to form any alliances together, not communicate with one another or with any other spirit whatsoever. They are not allowed to make resistance or cause trouble, cause any damage, behave aggressively etc. (Note the difference to catholic exorcism as instance: no need for hand-cuffs etc. Strange thing actually that folks did not come to think of it before; if the spirits must obey Jesus' name, why not command them to behave as well?)

They are asked where have they come from, how they entered the person in question, and in Jesus' name, they must speak the truth. They must reveal who they are (sort of functional name). After getting the knowledge about their reason of being there, the Holy Spirit will bind them and lock them up as they are being dealt with. All is of course done in Jesus' name.

Then they are put into a box/coffin, locked up and sent away and commanded never to return or cause any trouble to anyone again.

Now, I recognize some may be against this and I understand it, considering it may not be that well known way to deal with the demonic forces. I have not been so heavily associating with this before, but after trying it out I have really felt the difference and know some people in whose life a breakthrough took place after getting rid of the demons in this way.

Caution is always in place as for subjects like this. Basically, the issue is still pretty biblical and much present today. Why do people so often  go about things they know are not good to deal with, or totally lose the control. I would say, casting out the demons was one of the normal things Jesus did, and in fact, the first supernatural act the disciples performed before the Pentecost.

While the focus should be, as Jesus replied to them when they rejoiced of evil spirits being subjects to them, that we have eternal life in God through Christ. But, one of the greatest obstacles to happily walk in this knowing, is the unseen dark forces that seek to destroy that which God has planted into us. I think that can easily be confirmed in that how many believers struggle with their lives no matter how hard they try to believe and read their Bibles. Of course, doing that will keep us holding to God and His promises but how often do we actually stop to think if the problem lies deeper within, that we have not effectively dealt with the roots of the demonic presence in our lives?

That really can be a problem, because the only intention the evil has in our lives, is to prevent our walk with God. And if possible, even turn us against God and use us as an instrument to bring chaos into the world. Even on this board alone one occasionally comes to read posts about Christian people pouring out their souls asking why life must hurt so much. Maybe it is because there's a stronghold of the dark force attached which needs to be effectively dealt with. I am not claiming it must absolutely always be because of that, but recently I have become more and more certain of the underlying problem more often than not being the demonic.

Therefore, I hope anyone feeling like they are really going with their last gasps of faith could find some help about this. It is not that God does not have the supreme and sovereign power in the Creation, but that we are blind to what hinders us from walking into the blessing. You cannot serve two lords, and the demonic certainly serves not our Lord. So long it is attached to us, I find it extremely exhausting walk with God. It's like climbing ladders to heaven with a bag of sins. The demonic use our weaknesses and strengthen bad self-esteem so we feel it's no use trying to seek God or salvation.

Perhaps it has really come time to put stop to it. I don't know, each one may judge for themselves if this is good or not. I have but given a small chance to this stuff without diving deeper, and already I must confess, I feel like completely renewed, like a new creation in Christ. So kick those demons down hill and continue soaring higher in spirit and truth. If God is pulling you closer to Him and the demons try to drag you to hell, which one do you prefer?
