Guest shiloh357
Would you mind quoting the entire verse and maybe the conext in which it appears so that we can better discuss it? Thanks!!

My answer is, no. The condition of being a heir is not the suffering, but being children. Galatians 4:7 says, "So then you are no longer a slave but a son; and if a son, an heir also through God." Also Titus 3:7: "In order that having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

I realize that I was not exactly clear. On the one hand we are heirs of God by virtue of our sonship. On the other hand, because we are joint heirs with Christ, there is the condition of suffering.
