Have you looked into doing book reviews? Publishing houses typically out-source their book reviews especially books by new authors so that their in-house people have time to concentrate on the big names and controversial books. You can do this at home. The salary is usually modest, but it would allow you to stay home and work. Do you have other hobbies that you could be a hidden job skill? I'm not sure if any of my other hobbies would create income but i have booked an appointment now with the careers advice lady and i suppose i could add hobbies onto my form and see if she picks up on anything.
