The 7 Angelic Trumpets: Establishment of the Kingdom on Earth

All of the Exodus-era allegories for the 7 Trumpets consisted of seven rebellions by the Israelites against God, and his seven resulting punishments.

Preliminary, Exodus Antetype: Censer, altar, incense, fire from Godʼs Tabernacle/Temple. Lev. 10:1-2; cf. 16:12. End Times: All of the same elements. Rev. 8:2-6.

1st Trumpet, Exodus: Hail and fire, mingled with blood, are thrown to Earth. Num. 11:1 End Times: “[T]he fire of the LORD burned among them…” Rev. 8:7

2nd Trumpet, ExodusA corruption of the sea, bringing death. Num. 11:31f. End Times: A plague “from the sea” brings death. Rev. 8:8-9

3rd - 4th Trumpets, Exodus: A pillar of cloud infected Miriam with leprosy, which mimics severe radiation exposureNum. 12 End Times: (Speculative) Nuclear missiles bring radiation poisoning (“wormwood” = Chernobyl in Russian), and thick darkness caused by massive fires. Rev. 8:10-13

5th Trumpet, Exodus: The word “grasshoppers” (a locust relative) is used. The Nephilim – offspring of fallen angelsafflicted most of the Israelites with fear, but didnʼt kill them. Num. 13 End Times: Demonic locust-spirits from the Abyss, ruled over by a fallen angel, afflict most people, but donʼt kill them. Rev. 9:1-11

6th Trumpet, Martial Section, Exodus: The Israelites were utterly routed in battle by the Canaanites and Amalekites to their east. Num. 14:39f. End Times: A great army out of the east, “prepare…to slay…” Rev. 9:13f.

Priestly Section, End Times: The Two Witnesses prophesy, burn their enemies with fire, turn waters to blood, and smite the earth with plagues. They are accused and attacked by the Beast and others. God publicly validates their ministry by raising them from the dead; an earthquake then kills thousands. Rev. 11:3-13 Exodus: Moses and Aaron, after having prophesied and performed similar miracles, were confronted and accused by Korah and others. The LORD then validated their ministry, killing thousands of their adversaries by earthquake, fire and plague. Num. 16; Ex. 7-10 (The story of Haman and Mordecai in the Book of Esther provides another historical allegory of these things.)

7th Trumpet, Exodus: God caused only Aaronʼs rod to bud, thereby firmly establishing His chosen leader over Israel. Num. 17 End Times: “The kingdom of this world…becomes the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ”: God firmly establishes who is his chosen ruler over. Rev. 11:15f.
