The Never die and the Dead
Life, death and resurrection of the being who never dies vs the being who is dead
What makes a living being into a 'dead' being, and another living being into a 'never die' being, AND how do they differ.
We are all born of the flesh - a natural body, and everyone's flesh is going to die. When that flesh dies (as in Adam all die) one of 2 things will take place and will be BASED UPON what has taken place BEFORE that moment.
1. The person could have heard the words of God, COME TO FAITH and been born again.
or
2. The person was NEVER born again.
It is ONE OR THE OTHER.
For those who fall under category #1
The person who came to faith and was born again, having been 'baptized' has ALREADY DIED and BEEN 'RAISED UP'. So on the 'spiritual level' their 'natural' body HAS ALREADY been buried. They have already 'left the world' and already have their citizenship up in heaven.
They have been 'made' a New Creature. They have had a spiritual birth. A 'birth', NOT SEEN, but felt of a new inner man, a 'spiritual man' that can now begin to grow and mature. Though they walk around in the same flesh body, the things the flesh body used to demand are going to slowly fall by the wayside and give way to the things of the 'new inner man', the 'spiritual man. The more they 'feed' the inner man the more powerful the inner man becomes, the more the 'flesh' man dies. We feed the inner man with the words of God. We grow the inner man with repenting and prayer that the words of God open our eyes to. The Spirit of God can now 'dwell' within us because have and always will be able to be washed clean through the forgiveness of our sins through the blood of the Lamb slain. The more we mature and follow the ways of the spiritual man inside us, the more holy and perfect we walk, the more God can dwell within us. Synergy.
By the time our 'flesh' body dies (as in Adam all die) our spiritual man is alive and well and NEVER DIES. Because we 'never die' we never descend to the place of the dead, making it IMPOSSIBLE to ever be resurrected out from the dead. So, what is written about OUR RESURRECTION when this flesh body dies?
First off, we are told we will be RAISED up in a body.
35But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
we are told the death of our NATURAL body comes first aka is sown
36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
we find out the natural body SOWN is NOT the body that shall be, but only produces 'the seed' for the spiritual body
37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain
and GOD gives us 'the KIND' of spiritual body we will be receiving, and EVERY natural body that is SOWN produces it's own seed
38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
WHAT does that mean? It is written 'in the Fathers house are vessels of Gold and of honor all the way down to vessels of wood and dishonor'. I believe that has to do with 'and our works do follow us'.
What else do we know about our other body? We will be as the angels in heaven, neither taking nor giving in marriage. We also know we will be 'flesh and bone' but there will be no blood as 'flesh and blood' does not inherit the kingdom of God.
So, we won't be a ghost or a spirit without a body or 'just air' of some sort, but will remain as God made us 'a body and spirit' aka a soul. All souls belong to God. Our spirits return to God and that is in a body, or 'a seed'
Here is one of the 'confusing' things because even though there is not a single verse in the bible that says we are raised up without a body and there is one that specifically states we are, there still seems to be some confusion going on when it comes to how we are raised. IDK....
Just like the 'vessels' from gold down to wood, it is also described in this manner
40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
Here we are given more information to the question "and with what body do they come?" and what takes place
42So also is the resurrection of the dead.
The NATURAL body goes into the corruption aka the grave, but the SPIRITUAL BODY is raised up
It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
The NATURAL body is perishable and goes into the grave where as the SPIRITUAL body is raised up in glory
43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory:
The NATURAL body is prone to disease and weakness whereas the SPIRITUAL body is not
it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
The NATURAL body goes into the grave, the SPIRITUAL body goes to heaven.
44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.
Everyone has 2 bodies. There is one body for this age and another for the DAY OF VENGEANCE.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
We were made 'living souls' natural body and spirit, We will continue to LIVE ON because Christ is a LIFE GIVING SPIRIT.
45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
SO how is it possible for someone who Never dies TO BE FOUND resurrecting out from the corruption of the eath, out from the dead?
And WHY would someone who has BEEN RAISED up in their spiritual body and in glory and in power be RETURNED TO THE CORRUPTION OF THE EARTH TO RECEIVE THE DECAY OF THE EARTH TO BE RESURRECTED yet again?
A couple reasons I have read as to why and why I disagree
1. these dead are in Christ - Since when did 'DEAD in Christ' TRANSLATE to 'the NEVER DIE'? These DEAD may be 'in Christ' somehow but that doesn't change their STATUS from being DEAD and in the corruption of the earth.
2. they are RAISED up to heaven without a body - what part of sown one body and raised in the other body TRANSLATES to 'bodyless'?
3. they aren't raised up in a glorified body - how does 'raised in glory' TRANSLATE to not raised in a glorified body?
4. they return for a 'glorified body - what part of the decay or corruption could ever make a body GLORIFIED?
Catagory #2
The person who has NOT come to faith, has not been born from above has not been baptized so has not already died and been raised up, WILL come TO FIND OUT when their natual body dies, they have descended to the place of the DEAD. Though the death of their natural body ALSO produces the seed for their spiritual one, (same as the 'saved' being) they find themselves in the corruption of the earth. They are in bondage to death. They have become a captive of death. They also are still 'living' but they are living in death with all the other dead.
God is not the God of the dead but the GOD of the Living in Heaven. The dead have their own god. The god of this world.
How do we KNOW they also receive their spiritual body? Because they are walking and talking and in torment and hopefully praying for the day CHRIST returns to 'raise them up out of the place of the dead' and the natural body is already going back to the dust of the earth from whence it came.
The ONLY WAY they will ever be 'raised in glory and power' will be at the end of the DAY because when they stand in judgment because THEY are being raised up from the corruption and it is written 'neither doth corruption inherit incorruption', so their raising up from the dead is also different in that way.
Had they 'come to faith while in their natural body, had they 'believed' on Him, they too would have 'never died' and they would have KNOWN THE WAY. They would have known THE RESURRECTION. They would have known THE LIFE. They would have ASCENDED. They would have followed Him.
But instead, THEY DON'T FOLLOW HIM AT ALL, they have to wait until He returns.
Hopefully they will be of the many that are raised up at His return. EVEN more hopefully is that their resurrection out from the dead will PROVE TO BE a resurrection unto life by getting their names in the book of life by the time they stand in judgment at the GWTJ, and not will prove to be A RESURRECTION UNTO the 2nd death.
