Introduction.

God`s desire is to reveal Himself, and His plans and purposes to His people. As the centuries unfolded from the beginning of time God gave individuals great revelation of Himself – that He is a Holy, righteous and all sufficient God who cares for His people.

“Moses, Moses!......Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”

And as time went on God began to reveal to His Prophets of Israel some of His plans and Purposes. These all centered around their coming Messiah.

`For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will perform this.` (Isa. 9: 6 & 7)

Warnings were given as to Israel`s rebelliousness and coming captivity. However, God`s wonderful promise of Israel`s future as ruler over the nations was always before them.

“On that day I will raise up the Tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and repair its damages….I will plant them in their land and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,“ says the LORD your God.` (Amos 9: 11 & 15)

In this series we will be specifically looking at God`s further revelation given to the Body of Christ of where they fit into God`s overall plans and purposes through the Lord Jesus Christ, and God`s Appointed time for their Rapture.
