God`s Appointed Time for the Rapture: God revealing His Further Plans and Purposes.

God Revealing His Further Plans and Purposes.

God desires to reveal His further plans and purposes to His people - for the Body of Christ, as well as Israel and for the Nations.

`Surely the LORD GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the Prophets.` (Amos 3: 7)

God gave some revelation to His Prophets of Israel and later when Christ ascended God gave further revelation of His plans and purposes to the Body of Christ.

`GOD, who at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to the fathers by the Prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son…` (Heb. 1: 1 & 2)

The ascended Lord Jesus at the right hand of the Father, has sent His Holy Spirit to guide His believers into all truth.

`When He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth: for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me , for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you` (John 16: 13 & 14)

The Holy Spirit then speaks through the Apostle Paul, who writes for us to read and understand God`s further purposes. Now, before Paul was called of God, he had been a very devout and zealous Jew. Thus, he had studied all of God`s Prophets and learnt what God`s plans were for Israel.

“I am indeed a Jew, born of Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city (Jerusalem) at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our father`s law, and zealous toward God…` (Acts 22: 3)

However, Paul needed to learn what God`s further plans and purposes were regarding the Body of Christ. For that Paul needed to go to the desert.

`…when it pleased God….to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.` (Gal. 1: 15 – 17)
