Corrie Ten Boon once told me that she hated the thought of getting her hands on the neck of the man who turned her family into the Nazi's who killed them. Then she said that when she finally stood in his prison cell the day before he was hanged... she hated the thought of letting him go. She forgave him and led him to Christ hours before his execution. He said he was prepared for any kind of reproop from this old victim, but he was defenseless before Love and Forgiveness. Hatred is a demon that uses a memory to eat your soul to death. Fight this demon by earnestly praying for all blessings (be specific and name each one) for the one you think is the object of your hatred. It may be that for some secret reason you really hate YOURSELF. I am praying for you. Deliverance is at hand. Give it to God and then ask God to take it from you.

When one seeks to walk a while with strangers, it often happens that toes are stepped on during introductions. Its not agressiveness, just learning the limits of movement that can lead to social grace. So, I am thinking about some illustrative stories...testamonies that should illustrate clearly exactly what I am trying to say. I am new here... and regret it if I have caused offense.

No offense taken. I am too old for that nonsense. Really, though, you can't 'hijack' the Truth. I know what I have seen. Reality is not a flippant chess game played for the benifit of those too bored to think about what is happing around them to get involved. If you spent as much time OUT THERE doing something to promote the Great Commission you would have less time to spend 'hijacking' threads. Go do the math. Jesus was a revolutionary. He didn't wear daisys in his hair, nor was he a pacifist as some think. He died because he was so involved in YOUR problems. Dare to think outside of the box before it crushes what is trying to grow inside it. Live for Jesus and He will live in you and compel you to action for the Kingdom of God. Scripture promises that if we live like this some will surely want to kill you for your integrity and the way you express it. Jesus didn't live to establish consensus among the majority. He brought a sword!

War is the great disease of civilization. Only God can heal this rot. ALL nations are infected. Many Americans today can recall seeing children shot and killed during VietNam when no soldier was free of fear that the enemy would use their sentiments against them. Many US soldiers died because they did not perceive a threat in the eyes of an innocent child cozened by the enemy. This resulted in many, many examples of Mai Lai where villages filled with women and children were exterminated by US troops carrying out official orders. Russians have a policy of genocide in Chnekia just as they did in Afghanistan where they kidnapped thousands of male Afghan boys for siberian labor. Why has the media forgotten those children? Why does the United States and international media look the other way when innocent moslem children are butchered by Russian soldiers and agents in service to Russian foreign policy? Cheknia deserves independence. The destroyed school in Russia was orchestrated as a media event by desperate men. What message could possibly be so important to cost so much? Those who lose families resort to messages that reflect their desperation. "LOOK! SEE? THIS IS WHAT THEY DO TO US!" Suddenly, the world media finds focus as Putin calls them 'terrorists'. It is an attempt to rewrite history by striping victims of the dignity of being recognized as victims. Cheknia deserves to be FREE. Leave them alone, Russia. God will defend them. Would that the world and human nature were as simplistic as a cartoon in a Sunday school booklet. solutions would be quite easy to implement. The world is complex and paradoxical and only God has the true slant on what is happening and why...

The day prior to the Oklahoma City explosion credited to McVeigh, a US Navy Seal Team consisting of ordinance specialists were flown out of Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina to Oklahoma City. Curious that the next day a federal building is blown up. The pictures show the building debris all laying in a pattern demonstrating that the detonation was from INSIDE the building and NOT outside in a van as official records claim. A parked van would NOT have resulted in the debris patterns clearly shown in public photographs. NO news media focused on this obvious feature of the event. It appears McVeigh was a patsy like Oswald was a patsy. What is REALLY going on? :oww:

Freewheeling federal spending since WWII has created a sucking black hole of national debt. Treaties are bought and sustained by throwing them 'loans' that are forgiven at tax payer expense... grants that too often end up in private bank accounts of dictators and their cronies... paid for my US taxpayers... Billions of dollars given Mexico in humanitarian aid has disappeared. The vast rural areas along the Gulf Coast have been provided a network of asphalt roads to seduce foreign investors while the native population is pointed NORTH to yankeeland and the fields of opportunity via the illegal worker network. Most do not return. With no one to dispute the claim of rich mexican capitalists the land rush is on to create a coast thriving with casinos and resorts for rich tourists. Meanwhile, the US taxpayer subsidizes this by the unquestioned spending of Congress. During the Reagan administration... the concept of spending Russia to death worked, but the cost has yet to hit the taxpayer. Author/Anderson Accounting was contracted by the US Department of Defense (and other federal agencies) to create a new model for fiscal management. They used the Raptor concept to create a string of bogus entities to leach away the red ink from the federal deficit and the biggest entities now wear some very familiar names. Federalism is making way for Dictatorship in America. The table is set for a bloodless coup in the United States... made 'necessary' by the threat to our homeland. Jefferson said: The nation that sacrifices liberty for safety is not worthy of either.

I took a walk along the side of Mount Carmel in Haifa and stopped to take a rest in a shady spot next to a cedar tree. I sat on a bench and bent to pull up a plant that grew there beside the trail. I looked at the roots and noticed an awful lot of grub worms hanging on for dear life. That's life in Israel today. Survival means hanging on when others let go.

Racism has no place in a discussion of scripture. Black or white?

Self-centered conviction can lead to a shattering experience when one encounters someone with more flair for dialectic than they have. The sad reality is that saddness has a real place in the most stunning argument for self vindication. God is the only one who is 'RIGHT' all the time. Is humility self-conscious?

Psychologists tell us that anyone who 'hears voices' is mentally ill. However, all psychologists hear a voice every moment that tells them to.. PUBLISH! PUBLISH! PUBLISH! Awareness of the presence of God on a personal level would include communication with God. This is the promise of scripture... a rich dialog with God. However, when one attempts to communicate what God has told them, they must be careful not to present it as PROPHESY unless it is 'scriptural'. That is, the BIBLE is the standard of proof against which the True Christian MUST judge all experience as valid, or not. THIS is where you are having problems when speaking to others about what you receive from God. Also, humans have special 'filters' by which they comprehend all communications. These filters are constructed of their personal values and their cultural world view, and many other attitudes obtained in life. ALL of these will affect how you understand ANYTHING you receive. Interpretation is difficult to avoid for this reason. When God speaks to a person HE cuts through all of these filters... to speak to the heart. The evidence that it was indeed GOD and not our ego speaking to us, is in the results. The results must reflect scripture. Moses knew where to point the stick because God had told him what to expect when he pointed. Others who saw him point the stick and THEN something awesome happened (the sea parted) may have thought that Moses did it with the stick. Others may have had a correct understanding BECAUSE they knew what God had promised (His Word). Deliverance. Moses knew what to expect of God and he pointed the people to THAT... he did not point them at himself. I hope this helps.

The Bible tells us that it is better to be wise about things that are GOOD and ignorant about things that are evil. If one is a Deacon, it is not wise to be ignorant about the methods used by the enemy of our soul. The purpose of the Christian is the glory of God. All studies should seek to promote that purpose. Christians have an obligation to God and to others to provide the best possible informed response to anyone asking a question about God's 'glory'. All things are pure to the pure, but to the wicked there is no clean thing.

Some believe that a little lie is appropriate under special circumstances. Others believe that a life must demonstrate the truth of Christ in the Christian. Still others believe a life must demonstrate the highest form of Truth and provide a vessel by which the Holy Spirit may present a living Christ to the world. Others believe its ok to skirt the issue of ethics and morality and walk the road as close to the edge as possible while remaining 'legal'. God knows the heart. God sees what moves a person in their choices and God will NEVER compel His children to engage risk, or to embrace doubt and unbelief. Unbelief is the core of sin and all forms of unbelief are symptoms of spiritual death. God's Word is honored totally by the true Christian. Its all a matter of how much you want to live or not. A LIE is NEVER necessary to preserve life. Special circumstances: Rev. Richard Wormbrand... christian martyre during WWII wrote about being interrogated by prison officials who wanted from him the names of collaborators (christians). He never told them the truth. They stated that if he lied, then he committed sin. He laughed at them and suggested they were perhaps closer to being collaborators themselves since they could understand the simple truth about a lie. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life." A proper focus is on understanding THIS Truth, not groping for a trite philosophical point in debate.

When too much attention is given to knowledge as a source of growth, ego can cloud the picture with irrelevant issues. The real 'knowledge' that comes from God alone depends upon trust and faith in the benevolent leadership of the Holy Spirit (our teacher) who leads us into all truth. How can one know they have discovered an appropriate balance between study and living? Look to your testimony and its effect on others...particulary the one you may despise. The revelation of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophesy. When this spirit (gift) visits a life ... one knows where the next step must be placed because that is where Jesus leaves his footprint.

You go to the "source"? Tell me of this 'source' to which you go for guidance. How do you understand it and what is the sign of FULL understanding?

Abundant Life ... POWER to live the life of Christ ... to illustrate the resurrection is True and Real. The character of God is expressed in human flesh. The assertion of JOB that ... "Yet, in this flesh I shall see God." is proven. The fruit of the HS. A fruitful vine is preserved and nurtured by God. The stature of the fullness of Christ finds expression in our flesh. The mind of Christ is presented to the world in your testimony. The living Word of God acts through your life.

Believe what you want, but beware the fool's reward. God is not mocked. The Pharasees knew scripture, but they failed to live what they knew and testimony was a hollow shell of pretense.

What is the MEANING of a word?

Take care how you give advice, for fools won't heed it and wise men don't need it.

The mark of the beast has absolutely no place at all in the born again Christian. They are removed into His presence and are seperated from the influence represented in the 'mark'. This 'mark' is the same 'mark' placed on Cain. Go study that for a better understanding of this mark you say is a piece of metal and plastic.

Dialog among Christians is encouraged, but real inquiry is first made at the feet of the Lord Jesus... in whom is found the answer to all questions. When the pharisees demanded ... 'Explain to ME!" Jesus' reply was the life he lived... and that is 'explanation' adequate to confer changes that knowledge alone cannot.

Solicitation for replies: Question. Is a question that is 'doctrinal' the same as a 'doctrinal' question? When does orthodoxy restrict the spirit of inquiry?

The MARK of the beast is a SPIRIT of error that distorts good judgement. A technology may be used to implement the agenda of this servant of Saten (Beast), but a tangible chip is not THE mark mentioned in scripture. A Christian is not marked by a CROSS on the forehead on Ash Wednesday either. The "mark" of rebirth is an inward one, a committment of faith... that distinguishes the Christian as a child of God. Their 'mark' is God's own seal placed upon those who are reborn and who have become 'new' creatures in Christ. ONLY these are enabled to live an abundant life... free of the error of unbelief imposed on the world by original sin. God bless you in your inquiries...
