I've not been very good in my life at memorizing things, but then there are those times when the Lord just writes something on my heart and it stick. Whenever I hear a poem, it seems that I am always reminded of a poem I read about 20 years ago and it so stuck in my heart and mind that I still remember it word for word today. It goes like this. If I say I forgive but I cannot forget, it's as though the God who washes all the sands, on all the shores, in all the world each day, cannot wash these memories from my mind, then I know nothing of charity love. Today as I learn to love God and love others well, that poem means more to me than I ever thought it could.

Strange things about the path to God. The other day I heard someone say something that really registered in my spirit. They said there are no paths to God. The way to God is just that, "A Way". Actually, it's "The Way'. It reminded me of the scripture in the words of Jesus Himself. he said, "I am the way, the truth and the life". This is about relationship. Jesus wants to live His life fully in and through me. What an amazing mystery of God's word.

Jesus died on the cross and suffered everything that He suffered, to open a way for the redemption of His fallen creation.
