Trusting God himself, alive and real is totally different than trusting God's written Word or the bible for the latter is not the Lord God.

I don't understand the question in bold... Possible to rephrase? How did this voice start talking you guys? Did this voice declar that Jesus is Lord? God bless, GE Any work that God can do but the devil cannot do, can you name any? let us settle this one first.

My statement is based on our long exchanges of posts and it is obvious that the guy knows God through the bible thus my "your faith is confined to a book" for the bible is a book.

It was over a month that the Lord Jesus taught us about Satan and his devil and on how we can determine how they operate in this world. The Lord even gave us authority for one week to cast out demons in His names and, indeed it happened, but after that, we are told to do what is the normal way of dealing with the devil - to call on to the Lord and ask Him to drive the devil out. Kindly come to think a million times of what nature and make are you going to test the Lord God and His utterances to those whom God is inter-acting today? Is there anything better and higher than God himself?

And your basis for saying the above is what?

Jesus has many ways of proving Himself that He is the Almighty and it is beyond the capacity of men to comprehend it unless they were there when the Lord proved Himself of His Lordship over all. What do you think of any specific God's work that the devil cannot do in any way he can?

A. The bible is not the Lord God and eternal life does not reside in the bible and contradiction is only in the people's mind since God knows what was truly said by Him. B. You did not carefully weigh what you said in this part because if the result of eating the fruit was allowing sins to enter their lives, then they were really clothed in sins after eating the fruit. C. Joined together is the tie not in marriage or marriage per se and one flesh is the offspring which will come out later, come to think of this carefully. Tell me, did you and your spouse became literally one flesh after you were put in marriage? But how about your offspring, didn't they become one flesh as a result of the union of your flesh (sperm cell) and that of your spouse (egg cell)? I believe that the Lord God himself, not the personal revelation we received from Him, is superior over the bible of today.

Have you personally seen Paul, Peter, and James daring to lead groups of Christians in the way you think they lead them, were you a witness to these people then? God has his own right to do what he pleases, better ask God himself so that you may be able to get the right answer to your question, should you be willing.

Come to think of this in the first place, have you witnessed/seen Paul writing those passages the way how they are recorded in the bible today? How do you understand the whole chapter of John 10? Why don't you take the reverse that God let it happened that way for Him to see where and to whom the people will come for the resolution of the issue, would the people come to God or would the people put their trust in what is only written or would they come to their fellow men to know the truth, what do you think?

No, Jesus is not the bible, but God wrote the bible. 1 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. Since Jesus is not the bible, how then do you know Jesus who is alive and real and is living and existing on His own ways?

Do you believe God is real and alive? Yes I do. And I believe He gave us his written word for doctrine and teachings. You disagree...how can we test who is right since we cannot both be correct. One of us has clearly misunderstood the Lord. on what basis do you claim to be the one that is correct? Now how can you prove to me that God is real and alive, what do you have from the real and alive God? When and how did you first encounter the Lord God in His own ways of existence? What means did God use in talking to you and in what manner did He do the talking to you?

The Lord God who is alive and real, He is the one who is true. Both the bible and the things given to us by God are just testimonies to Him that He is real and alive and that we have to come to Him should we want to be saved and to know God. You did not answer my question lol. Your basis of truth is the bible and my basis of truth is the Lord God himself, real and alive, it is but normal for both of us to be travelling on different track thus the misunderstanding/s. If in your own judgment the revelation that we got from God contradicts the things written in the bible, what danger may your judgment be posing against us, are you and the bible the Lord God? Neither will I hold the bible nor will I hold the revelation we got from God to be true since God is the only TRUTH that I can hold on to unto eternity.

The Lord, though unseen, came down to us and spoke to us and introduced himself to us and proved himself to us that He is the Lord.

Once you are under the tutelage of the Lord, you will not be alienated from knowing the truth and the Lord Himself. The bible is not the basis of the truth but it is the Lord God who is the basis and sole authority in all truth.

To be safe, treat those writings as testimonies to the Lord Jesus and you will be in good hands, for sure. If you want sound teachings that will surely lead you to the way to your salvation and knowing God, then go and come to the Lord Jesus Christ in the way how He exists and lives in His own way of living.
