wow you both are blessed. The only way I see it, is that you did the right thing about praying about it and asking the only counselor you really need for advice, which is our LORD Jesus Christ. I think instead of being angry with you, she should respect you for having trust in God and going to him before you made any decisions that may have been encouraged by flesh and not by God. I must say though it does sadden me to see people argue about money, take my family for example, my Fiance and I(both in our early 20s) both have severe illnesses, we have a 11 mo old boy, we rent out a room at my mother's house only because we really are sometimes in so much pain that we cant even watch our own son, Due to this, I can't work and the only help we get is aide through the Gov for less than 1th a month. My point is, God really is all you need and once you accept that and live for him because he died for you, then everything just falls in place and that's when true happiness dwells in our life. Personally I'd be grateful for even a slice of what you were led to give her in the first place. I hope evrything works out for you and i will surely keep you in prayer. God Bless you and remember that only by God's Grace we have our wealth.
Check out Deut 8:18 "But you shall remember the LORD your God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is this day."
