I got the nickname "Digger" because I'm always digging around in the scriptures. This nickname was taken in a lot of the forums and chats I frequent, so I got a little creative and spelled it "Di66eR". But don't let the two 6's scare you, nothing sinister here, they simply represent the 66 books of the Bible... DIG IN! Corny? Perhaps. Still, it works for me because the nick is easy to remember and isn't usually taken when I go to register with a chat server or forum.

I love God's Word, it truly is "living and active"! (Hebrews 4:12) It never ceases to amaze me how God speaks to His people in and through the scriptures... oft times using the same verse to address different circumstances at discrete times in our lives. Is there any other single book out there that can speak volumes the way the Bible does!!??

While I do occasionally post to the forums, more often than not you'll find me in the chat rooms. I tend to gravitate towards them because there are not only a myriad of questions, problems and suppositions being posed at any given moment, but people can more readily explain and expand on what they are asking or saying... while the thoughts are still fresh in their mind. As they do, the Holy Spirit often brings to my mind scripture that speaks to the issue, topic or belief being discussed and occasionally gives unction to share it with the participants. The scriptures tell us that the Word of God does not return void (Isaiah 55:11) and this truth is borne out even as I witness the scripture the Holy Spirit provides accomplish what He intends... whether for myself, those who receive it, or both.
