    ORIGINAL SIN

Greetings stevehut, God bless [My humble testimony] Jesus died as the atonement (Propitiation) for the sin of Adam which placed us under damnation, and the sins of the world (Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me). . But according to scripture, there is now no condemnation (blame) to those that are in Christ Jesus [Romans 8:1]. And walk (operate) not after the flesh. We are also responsible for following (imitating) after the spirit [which according to the word of God, is our reasonable service (Romans 12:1-2)]. Put on Christ (the remedy), he is the new Ark.....by which you shall be saved. Your brethren in Christ, Repent....

  4. Greetings savedbythepassion, I pray you the blessings of the shephard of our souls Nice to meet you, I'm new to the Worthy Boards. Before responding to your inquiry, I'm not sure that I completely understand your question, could you defind for me your definition of "receiving salavation". Your brethren in Christ, Repent1.......
  5. Baptism is an outward sign of obedience. It symbolizes the death of the old nature and resurrection of a new life in Christ. Baptism follows salvation...it doesn't proceed it. One has to repent of their sins and turn from them, thus accepting Christ in their heart. Baptism follows as an outward expression of this change. Obviously, we are all born with a sinful nature however, infants obviously do not comprehend sin, repentance etc, so therefore baptism isn't necessary for infants. Greetings fellow sojourner, I pray you the blessings of the Father and the son I just wanted to say here, here to a great testimony. Your brethren in Christ, Repent1....
