  1. I just watched a youtube of Jim Caviezel who played the rolf of Jesus in The Passion of the Christ.

This is the title so that you can search itout, if you like.

Rock Church - Special Guest Jim Caviezel by Jim Caviezel & Dave Cooper

I had not known that Caviezel is a Christian! Great interview.

If you want the URL send me a pm and I will furnish it to you.

  2. Was Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrested by the Revolutionary Guard?

    • President Ahmadinejad was allegedly questioned for seven hours
    • He 'was warned against disclosing information damaging to Islamic regime'
    • Ahmadinejad involved in a political feud with the Larijani family
    • His alleged arrest comes just a month before Iran's general election

  3. Have any of you thought of composing a letter to leave for your family and friends for the aftermath of being raptured?

This is not a discussion for those of you who do not believe in a pre-tribuation rapture, nor for those of you who do not believe in a rapture at all.

I ask this as a matter of making arrangements for those you love who may not believe in Jesus. I am sure some of our family/friends know that we are Christians and what we believe, but for others a well written letter explaining what has happened, and a few well thought out Bible verses would also be helpful.

    This is something that might be helpful for His next appearance;

    Matthew 24:25-27

    King James Version (KJV)

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

There is some talk that people will be told that those who disappear will be said to have been abducted by aliens, by those who take over control of what is left. We do not want to leave people to believe this from Satan and his crew.

Food for thought, while we still have the time!

  4. http://www.debka.com/article/22904/US-troops-sent-to-Jordan-to-counter-Syrian-attack-on-kingdom

US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced Wednesday, April 17, that 200 troops of the US 1st Armored Division had been ordered to deploy in Jordan. debkafile’s military sources report that they are being sent on arrival to the north and ranged on the Jordanian-Syrian border.

According to the Pentagon statement, the force will give the United States the ability to "potentially form a joint task force for military operations, if ordered.”

  5. http://www.timesofisrael.com/israeli-firm-talks-up-mankinds-recovery-from-the-tower-of-babel/

The Bible ascribes the diversity of languages on Earth — some 6,500 tongues in current usage, according to most estimates — to the hubris of post-flood mankind in seeking to build a tower to heaven, and a divine decision to punish that Tower of Babel construction project by “confounding” man’s capacity to communicate in a single tongue.

Now, an Israeli start-up claims to be perfecting the best means of overcoming that biblical curse of global language barriers.

And it happened in Israel of all places!

  6. Have you ever received a gift you couldn’t wait to open, only to be surprised by something you really didn’t want? Perhaps it was that ugly sweater at Christmas. That’s kind of what happens to these Philistines in 1 Samuel 5-6 who captured the Ark of the Covenant and placed it as a trophy in the house of their god Dagon. They find out they really don’t want it, and cannot get rid of it fast enough.

Beyond the little analogy, this narrative tells us particularly why they didn’t want it: it brought judgment upon them and their worldview. And why so? Because the Ark did not belong there. This was an idolatrous nation at enmity with God, unfit to have His presence among them. God used the Ark to demonstrate this truth. Their reaction proved it true.

  7. Being a good person is not enough to get you into heaven. You must die to self to gain access to heaven through the holiest of holies. You must die to live. Don't wait until your flesh dies first. Die to your flesh first. Die daily. To live is to die. And so on.

Ah yes! Romans 5 and up! Was just reading there last night and this morning.

  8. If being Rapture ready means accepting Jesus I was rapture ready 30 years ago.

Add to your comment (IMO) that we need to have all our sins confessed, moment by moment.

I do not want to stand before our Lord and Creator with unconfessed sin in me.
