  1. Lori, I definately believe GOD does miracles today, One of the greatest miracles HE has done in my life is taken a lost, fallen, undeserving man like myself and has led me to Salvation through HIS Holy Spirit as HE works in my life through the sanctification process changing me into what He wants me to be. Even though our prayers are not always answered in the ways we would like, if we keep our eyes on HIM, and stay true to HIM in our heart, HE will always do what is best for us, even if we don't always see it right away.
  2. 2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our GATHERING TOGETHER TO HIM, (This Gathering together to Him is The Rapture.) 2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the DAY OF CHRIST IS AT HAND. (Day of Christ = Day of the Rapture) 2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For THAT DAY shall not come unless there first comes a FALLING AWAY, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition, (That Day = Day of Rapture) (There are some who would change the Word of GOD to line up with their man made doctrines and say the FALLING AWAY in 2 Thess 2:3 is speaking of the Rapture of the Church if that would be the truth how much sence would 2Thess 2:3 make if we replaced the phrase FALLING AWAY with the word RAPTURE. Here is DR. Ice's 2 Thess 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. for THE DAY OF THE RAPTURE shall not come unless there first comes a RAPTURE, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition, { Dr. Ice Doesn't make much sence does he, well this is where some of the deception spoken of in these very verses are coming from} The Scripture will always speak the Truth it is man's commentary on Scripture where deception comes in.)
  3. The question asked on the first post of this thread was, If there would still be death after the rapture? The answer to this question is Clearly answered in Scripture and the answer is no. At the Resurrection Death will be destroyed. 1 Corinthians 15:22-28 King James Version (KJV) 22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (The above veses of Scripture make it very clear that after Christ resurrects those who are His {the rapture} all enemies are destroyed including death. Notice no 7 years of Tribulation where people go on living and dying this teaching of 7 years of tribulation was created in the minds of men and is nowhere to be found in Scripture.)
  4. 2 Thessalonians 2 1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; The above verses are clear as we will not be gathered together unto The Lord (The Rapture) until AFTER there come a falling away first , and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
  5. Individuals are not held responsible for the sins of a nation, just as the salvation and obedience of an individual cannot save a nation. Unless, of course, one is complicit or condones it by doing nothing end or reveal such sins.
