  1. Can't you handle someone challenging your view of Scripture? This is nothing new, I frequent these type of forums from Time to Time. They are dead and rife with Dead Works (Hebrews 6:1-2). I believe you have ignored some passages of Scripture to overly express others and that should be an alarm in your own heart! Love, Steven Let's not be abstract, isolate the exact scripture you are speaking of, Jesus is in the details.

  3. You obviously have never read or understood the Holy Bible! Your severely distorted view is hilarious the term "caught up" came from the original Greek text of I Thessalonians 4:17 is Harpazo Harpazo definition: to seize, carry off by force to seize on, to snatch out or away In the Latin translation the word Rapiemur is used Rapiemur is derived from the root verb rapio, which means to carry off or to seize someone or something. The English words “rapt” and “rapture” stem from this Latin verb. Therefore, the English term “rapture” was appropriately borrowed from the Latin Vulgate as a description of what will happen at that moment based on I Thessalonians 4:17. The Greek term for “suddenly caught up” is harpazo, which means to seize or snatch up something suddenly with great force without the consent of the owner. The specific usage of the verb in I Thessalonians 4:17 is harpagesometha, the future passive indicative tense. Compare the transliterated Greek to the English translation below: I The 4:17 epeita hemeis oi zontes hoi perileipomenoi hama sun autois harpagesometha [suddenly caught up] en nephelais eis apantesin tou kuriou eis aera kai houtos pantote sun kurio esometha I The 4:17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up [harpagesometha] together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:52 (NIV) 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJV) 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. The word “moment” is from ATOMUS in the Greek and it is the smallest conceivable quantity, the smallest division of time ;it can’t be cut or divided any smaller! When the physical body dies the spirit separates from the body and goes to be with the Lord in heaven , it happens so very fast, the human eye cannot see it happen , nor can the human eye see the action of the reuniting of the body with the spirit , the rapture begins with the spirits of those in heaven who have already died in Christ to be reunited with their new immortal incorruptible body that raise from the grave , it happens so fast that the human eye cannot see it happen , then we which are alive are translated/Changed and receive a new immortal, incorruptible body as we are 'caught up" to be with the Lord IN the AIR..... The term antichrist is a term used to identify what scripture calls The Son of Perdition , The Man of Sin and several scriptures describe the man is detail that clarify that he is satan incarnate in human man who Jesus throws alive into the lake of fire you need a great deal of study before you will understand this topic your understanding is really comical Gosh, is it possible that the Man of Lawlessness that sits in the Temple that you are, is the Old Man, that we are told to "put off:, and "put on the New Man" - Yes or No? Your laughter is a nervous defense-mechanism of the flesh. This is making me hungry for some Milk & Oreos -
  4. That was an incredibly hurtful thing to say! The Truth is hurtful to many who are at Ease In Zion (Amos 6:2). When Jesus called the Pharisees "snakes and vipers and of their father the Devil" - you can imagine all the people that said, Jesus, where is your love?
  5. That has nothing to do with salvation. We enter the Kingdom through the sacrifice of Jesus, when we repent and place our faith in Him. Salvation is Spirit, Soul, and Body (I Thess 5:23). Hmm, the same epistle that being "caught up" is in. There is no death in Jesus. If you believe all the way into Him, you will put on immortality and rule the Earth. John 8:51 He that keeps my sayings shall never see death - spiritual or physical. Did the saints that Jesus rose from the grave and gave them physical bodies have a crease?no how about those on the mount of transfiguration? nope , but they were resurrected and had new bodies as they witnessed to many people before they went to heaven,, Look up the definition to the word 'moment' and see how fast that is ..as in "in a moment,in the twinkling of an eye'" that is the speed in which we travel up to meet the Lord in the air..much faster than any 747.good thing you not driving We put on immortality when that "moment' happens and that is not on earth it is as we go up in that moment!! The greek word for "moment" is Atomos. We shall be changed in our atoms, from mortal to immortal, for those that put on the Lord Jesus Christ - The King Immortal. Sow to the flesh and die, sow to the spirit and reap the life of the ages (Gal 6:8, Rom 8:13). Real simple. The word “moment” is from ATOMUS in the Greek and it is the smallest conceivable quantity, the smallest division of time ;it can’t be cut or divided any smaller! It more than obvious when a mortal body becomes immortal it will change atomically , it never dies or gets sick and can travel at the speed of thought , can appear in a locked room without opening the door , eat food for taste but does not require food to survive because it cannot die ..etc the word ATOMUS in the given context says in a moment in the twinkling of a eye ,,we are changed faster than a blink ,, 1 atom of time is how fast we are changed real simple Only if you are sowing to the Spirit by fasting and intercession, otherwise you are feeding from the trough of the flesh - 666 - the number of man - the Old Man.

  7. WAKE UP CALL: Everything is happening for a Reason (Eph 1:11) and His name is the Alpha and Omega: Romans 13:11-14 Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah). 12 The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. 13 Let us live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly as in the [open light of] day, not in reveling (carousing) and drunkenness, not in immorality and debauchery (sensuality and licentiousness), not in quarreling and jealousy. 14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).

  9. How do the mortals here relate to Acts 14:22 - "Through much tribulation you enter the Kingdom". For those that believe in the Natural Interpretation of I Thess 4 - are you going to be dodging 747's and Lear Jets when you are caught up into the natural clouds, will the crease in your white robes be ruined?
  10. Those trying to figure out what the New Jerusalem is should read Revelation 3:12 and Revelation 21:9-11. It's that Simple. Once you move beyond the simplicity of it, it gets complicated.
  11. Because we are belilevers in the Word of God, the issue is not necessarily quoting scripture here, the issue is "Taking heed HOW you hear" (Luke 8:18). Are you wanting to convey the Spiritual Understanding of being Caught Up, or the Unspiritual Understanding?
  12. I believe in the Spiritual Interpretation of I Thess 4 - not the Unspiritual Interpretation.
  13. His wake up call is now. Wake up out of the darkness and put on the Light (Romans 13). I am not looking for a hole in the ground or a hole in the sky, I am going to be caught up in the cloud of Glory here on Earth and rule the nations with a rod of iron.
