  1. One more example of protest. Boston Tea Party. That was totally illegal but we celebrate that. Okay I am out of this thread.
  2. And MLK knew full well he would get arrested when he protested in Alabama. I am just saying there is a whole distance between protesting at military funerals and holding up signs saying <<< vulgar, hateful things >>> versus peacefully painting a house a rainbow color. From the ToS... The use of profanity will not be tolerated. This includes sexually explicit, vulgar, or other profane language or usernames as well as any any signs or symbols that suggests such.
  3. Yes they are. Totally. If we followed two wrongs don't make a right in every situation, where would the Civil Rights Movement be? Peaceful protests have brought down many injustices.
  4. Equal protection under the law.
  5. Yes but when people remain silent, that is when evil begins to win. I can think of so many examples of peaceful protests exposing dangerous and evil views. So I think it is good to challenge one idea with another, peacefully.
  6. If one does not believce in the Catholic Church, and I do not, one does not have to participate in it. Same with Methodists and Episcoplalians. Nobody is pressuring us to become part of their faith? We all believe in Christ let's start from there.
  7. Personally I think the organization staging a peaceful protest across the street is a sign that people will not put up with ignorance. I support that.
  8. Not so obvious I think. Espescally if there are Methodist or Episcopalian members on the board.
  9. "Methodists are about as useless as Episcopalians." Now I wonder how that does not get condemnation for being a very loaded and offensive remark?
  10. I am not sure of an Anti-Christ government Tinky, as it seems all government's have their turn at that. I agree the DNA swabs for misdemeanors is a bad idea. Here in PA, juveniles who enter the system are swabbed, whatever the offense. Think about it.
