  1. For me if God says that he is good, all the time, and he is perfect love, and he does not torment, and he does not lie, he is the author / giver of life and good things, the author of hope, the one who we can always trust and find comfort and healing and hope in...... like... John10:10 Jesus says "the theif comes to steal, kill and destroy. ...I came that they may enjoy and have life and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows) Verse11.. I am the good shepherd, The good shepherd risks and lays down his (own) life for his sheep. All of Psalm 23 speaks of the goodness of God and how we should and can put our whole trust in him, because he will keep us safe. he sets a table before us in the presence of our enemies, now that could be seen a bit negative i guess. But as i see it we are only at the table because our head has been annointed with the oil and we are there to win. My god has never placed me at the table with my enemy for me to lose the battle and go away broken so i can learn some life lesson. if i loose it's my bad, because god gave the tools and it was his plan to win. If Jesus Knowing/being God in his mind and in his nature as a human being, wanted to usher in the kingdom of heaven by saying to his crew "Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. It makes no sense to me why he has to make some more sick people. he is going to undo the good work he is already doing. Jesus does not have to do the devils job, the devil wants to destroy us and we in our brokenness and pride of life, do a pretty good job to. Sure there is some people because of the fall that are born with defects or ailments on the outside. but we are all busted on the inside some how..... Proverbs 14:30 A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy and jealousy, and rath are like rottenness of the bones. I suspect there will be a bunch of people that may disagree with me. But on my journey, i am learning to keep it simple with god or the devil will tell me crap and i won't get my healings etc... because i got to many unanswered  but why god questions and that effects my faith. I used to be a really big questioner.

  2. i understand this isn't a doctrinal question, but thought this would be the most fitting place to share.

for those of us who may be interested in searching deeper into the Hebrew language, i found this.

you won't find this at a better price anywhere.

love to you all and God bless.

In His Own Words - Messianic Insights Into the Hebrew Alphabet by L. Grant Luton

This book is a most amazing and intriguing book that opens the door to the inner meanings of these ancient letters.

This book will take you on a fascinating journey through territory that has, until now, remained unexplored by Christian theologians. The author demonstrates how the spiritual meanings of these Hebrew letters are connected to various New Testament truths.

You will discover how the Hebrew alphabet illustrates the Gospel story, how each letter contains lessons concerning positive and negative traits, why some letters letters in the Hebrew Bible are printed backwards, upside down, or undersized, or in one case broken in half!

In the companion book In His Own Words-Student Guide you will learn how to refine the concepts that Mr. Luton introduces. Our ability to grasp these concepts will increase as we ponder the ancient lessons God would teach us through His biblical alphabet.

i took the website sounds interesting, thankyou, Bless ya, brenno

Can someone tell me more about what Grace means to them.

Some Biblical passages on God's grace:

    Eph. 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

    Rom. 6:14

For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

    Rom. 11:6

But if it is {salvation} by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

    1 Cor. 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

    Rom 3:21-26

21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Thanks for your reminding of the word golden eagle, have you read the final quest bby rick joyner. he talks  about the eagles alot at the mountain and under the feathers there is battle scars and the scars are healed up and gold.

  4. Grace is unmerited favor and love. It is Christ dying for a sinful world. But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Rom. 5:8 , 6b Christ died for the ungodly. We don't merit anything by being good; and even our repentance (humbling ourselves before God and acknowleding our wickedness, and asking for His mercy) is something we can only do by His grace. Acts 11:18b Then God has also GRANTED to the Gentiles repentance to life. Repentance was a gift. For by grace are you saved through faith; and (even) that is not of ourselves. It is a GIFT from God, NOT OF WORKS so that no one can boast. Eph 2:8

We owe everything to God's mercy and grace.

Thankyou for answering my comment Willamina, i like that part that says it is a gift from God, and thats the thing i suppose i am challenged with its a gift, it has to be recieved and i have, and then you have to open it and i have, and then you have to work out what it is, and what it looks like, and that question of how do i use this gift to its full potential and thats the bit i restle with, but praise the lord with all these new hearts and minds around i have to find the answer. thankyou.

  5. To Me, Grace IS Jesus

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

    To Me, Grace IS Jesus

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

thanks for your comment to me Fresno joe,and i accept Jesus and his forgivness for me which is what i think your saying. But even though i have my rest in him i still have to make choices to move on to perfection in him. maybe i think to much.

  6. I don't want to be to simple about it to minimize your journey because it is a hard place to be. tomorrow morning when you wake up. say in your heart and then out of your mouth "good morning Jesus, i don't know exactly what today holds for me,but i know you do, and today jesus i make myself available to you Jesus to be used however you can use me where i am going". Then there is a movie called the yes man. when you sense, feel, hear a thought or direction no matter what it is as long as it leads to an action of love toward yourself or someone else and it might be a bit out of your comfort zone to do, Just say yes jesus thank you for the opportunity to use me for your good pleasure, and go and be obedient to what you hear and bless and be blessed also. Bless you jacob

  7.

All my life all I knew was hurt and darkness, I was abused as child by my father and later after his death I was sexually abused. Which unfortunately lead to my depression, ptsd, and other issues I have. I found myself in a self-destructive state, I was self-harming and once tried to end my life. Later on down the road I was reading about Wicca, and Satanism, both of which I practiced for a while. Maybe I was trying to find a outlet for my inner demons, I'm not sure. I detested God and cursed Him for all the pain I've been through. And when I thought things couldn't get worse for me, I found myself wrong as my home and I was plagued with demons...I was possessed! I couldn't read the Bible or pray without getting sick to my stomach, even though at the time I allowed some missionaries to bless me because I felt that it would help end the spiritual activity in my home (which were demon(s). I remember one night as usual the activity started at 3 am, I heard a deep guttural growl, immeditly I knew it was a demon. After that I felt like there was no hope for me. I then prayed to God that He would guide me in the right direction and He did because I found my wonderful friend on fb when she was being trolled by atheists and I asked her, "Why worship a God that allows so much suffering in the world?" and from there even we began talking and later I learned that when I had asked her that question she was fixing to ban me but she felt God guiding her not to but to talk to me. And I am glad that she did, she has and is still helping me learn and she sent me my new wonderful Bible which is such a blessing because now I can understand better and my questions now have answers. I thank God for my friend and for everything He has done for me, and I am glad that I finally gave myself to God and the more I learn about God and Jesus and read Jesus' words the more I love Him! I realize that I still have a ways to go in my growth and it comforts me knowing that God will guide me as He knows what I need and what is best for me. And now my home is peaceful the demons are gone! I am free. God bless!

  8. SMART Goals

How does one measure goals? This is a great question in the work place and for personal goals. Projects need organization. Individuals can certainly use milestones. Goals should be SMART - specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely.

A goal might be to hold a weekly project meeting with the key members of your team or to organize and run a continuous test program throughout the project.

The acronym SMART has a number of slightly different variations, which can be used to provide a more comprehensive definition for goal setting:

    S - specific, significant, stretching

    M - measurable, meaningful, motivational

A - achievable, agreed upon, attainable, acceptable, action-oriented

    R - realistic, relevant, reasonable, rewarding, results-oriented

    T - timely, time-based, tangible, trackable

This provides a broader definition that will help you to be successful in both your business and personal life. When you next run a project take a moment to consider whether your goals are SMART goals.

Specific: The goal should be described as specifically as possible. A goal of losing weight is not specific. A goal of losing twenty pounds from a current weight of one-ninety is specific. Even better is to set a specific target weight of one-seventy pounds.

Measurable: To be effective, the goal must be measurable. Obviously, weight is measurable, whereas being more generous, being a better parent, and working harder at your job are not measurable as stated. If your goal is in an area like the latter, such as being a better parent, identify some aspects of better parenting that are measurable. Perhaps spending 20 minutes each day in an activity that your child selects would be appropriate.

Achievable: There's an art to goal setting that revolves around the goal's difficulty. A goal too easy is not energizing. A goal too difficult seems hopeless. Both too easy and too difficult are goal setting no-no's. Set the level of challenge somewhere in between. A good way to decide that a goal is achievable but challenging is to visualize yourself reaching the goal. Can you see yourself there? Are you energized by seeing the vision? If both of these are not present, revisit your goal.

Realistic: Do you have the knowledge, skill set, and competency to reach your goal? If your goal involves weight loss, do you know all you should know about nutrition, calorie content, and metabolism to achieve your goal? If not, perhaps your first goal should be to gather this information.

Timely: Setting a deadline provides necessary positive tension to give you the energy to get on with it. The time frame you select should be realistic. Losing twenty pounds in twenty weeks is realistic, whereas losing it in five weeks is not only unrealistic but unhealthy.

The SMART technique of goal setting is especially in favor in business because it is a measurable process for performance appraisal, but SMART isn't so smart for everyone. SMART is essentially a left-brain tool, being easily analyzed, logical and linear.

    Thoughts? Hope this helps.

Thanks for those tips golden eagle.

  9. The grace filled life, i am on a journey to learn and understand through experience what the fullness of his grace really looks like for me. I love the lord and i don't want to abuse the gift of life he has given me. and being a bit legalistic is starting to be playing it safe because the world out there that god has for me within the limit of what the kindom looks like is so big still it's like " God just point me in this direction and i will do that", but it seems like you can do what you want "What seems good to you and God will help".

  10. I suppose I think along the lines a little bit like one light, in the fact that if there is a bridegroom there is a bride, and that leads back tow virgin , which leads back to the wise and foolish virgins. Being I believe to be the body of Christ. For me when I read these passages of scripture, i find myself not focused on the when so much is the issues of the oil and the lamp. They seem to be the important issues of depth of relationship and am I ready which of the five virgins catagory do I fit into now and the facts of buying the oil
