Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Ghost"
John 3:16, "For GOD so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life".
A week ago i had the chance one on one with this Muslim friend of mine. We all sat down to discussed our faith and our beliefs. And then in the midst of the conversation, i asked him this questions: "Why are you people against Christians doctrines? What is Jesus to you?
He then gave me so many answers which confused me a lot.
He said "we don't believe Jesus is the Son God as you claim"
"We also don't believe he died and resurrected but rather was taken up"
"As we know, just like Muhammad and Moses, Jesus is just a prophet sent by God"
But you people says He is the Son of God thereby worshiping him and making him as God"
"There is even a chapter in the Qur'an called "Maria" which talks about him"
"Look we believe in him as a prophet sent by GOD but as He being God and so on, we disagree."
Dear friends this man left me stranded not knowing where to start from or how to convince him. i tried all my best, i think is Spirit that speaks not the carnal man. I thought the Spirit of GOD at that moment would just start teaching him through me but it didn't happen. I wasn't able to convince him.
What do you think i should do so that if next time i have such an opportunity, i won't blow it off?
