the café where I work .. now has eftpos ..

I rolled my eyes when I used it to buy a feed at work ..

all the other staff are thrilled about eftpos ..

grr ...

well .. I've seen that happen at the café ..

some people though do come back with cash from a nearby ATM ..

I'm now working at a café ..

we only take cash ..

some people are so annoyed by that we don't have an eftpos machine that they walk away ..

seems using cash is so inconvenient ..  

its like the supermarkets here ..

there are the checkout "chicks" or guys ..

then there is self service .. grrr !!

and then there is the automated voice message ...... shoot that !!

give me a checkout person any day ..

I saw his visit on the news ..

I find it "odd" for these two "world leaders" to be meeting .. at all ..

it just seems contradictory or hypocritical or something to me .. seeing these two men meet ..

she did the right thing ..

and yes .. I did see it on the news here in Aus ..

listen to worship music .. and sleep on either side of your body that gets you into the rhythm of sleeping ..

its what I do .. but works for you is best ..

a plebiscite .. well .. from what i can gather .. its like a referendum but not quite ..

instead of the politicians voting on an issue .. they are taking it .. such as this one .. to the people of Australia to decide ..

kind of like an election .. but its not an actual election ..

we are in the middle of a ridiculous and "irrelevant" political debate about gay marriage and marriage "equality" ..

this has to end .. fast!

i think its fair to say that a lot of people .. including politicians are in favour of gay marriage ..

Tony Abbott has now declared that there will be a plebiscite in the new term (whether he is PM or not) ..

seems anyone who is against gay marriage is seen as lower class ..

when i say "all" of you .. i mean as many of you as possible ..

this topic in Aus is getting ridiculous ..

I'm fed up with Bill Shorten going on about it .. why he thinks its up to him to make this a political issue is beyond me ..

seems what used to be "frowned" upon is now taboo ..
