I have some friends who don't think Russia is actually part of the people involved in this war. They have maps and books that trace the people mentioned in Ezedial to the area of Turkey and half of those "??stan" countries that are all Muslim countries.

I think they got involved is reasearching from reading Joel Rosenburg's book "The Twelfth Imam."

It's interesting that the leading religious leaders of Iran are actually Turkish. I've seen video's of the Imams in Turkey from as far back as the 1970's speaking of reviving the Ottoman Empire and taking control of all the old lands. That would pretty much be most of the area covered in the Ezekial war.

yes its facinating to see how the Lord is unfolding it all. last year i saw on yahoo news that Venezuala and Iran had signed a military pact. This was at the same time that i was studying Ezekiel so i started to look a little more closely at what was happening politically with certain countries ( Venezual and Russia also have a similar pact) right around that time it was reported that Rusiia was shipping arms etc to Iran through Venezual. i lost most of the info i colllected when i went to a site in Georgia (the country) and got one nasty puter virus the only notes that i scratched out on paper unfortunately are these mutual military pacts

the Bible makes it clear that the hooks will draw in Russia as a major player this seems to be the most "logical" explaination for it. but of course i could be wrong

Most of the nations listed are Islamic. Simply their desire to "liberate" Jerusalem can be hook enough.

yes but the major player Russia is not Islamic. the alliances formed between Radical Islamic nations and communist countries is startling and notice Saudia Arabia protest in Ezekiel so not all of it is for religious reason.

in the past few years Russia has been using their gas pipe line to keep the former soviet block in line politically threatening to cut off their supply in the dead of winter.

the gas in Israel will threaten both Russian dominance and economy. interesting i think thats the connection.

i believe the "hooks" for this prophecy has been found with the recent discovery of natural gas in Israel.

i thank God with all my heart ,for healing my sister of bowel cancer,before christmas she was in i,C,U,we were told as a family that there was nothing more the drs could do ,they had removed half her bowel etc,we were told it would only be a matter of a couple of days and to say our farewells.wellll they dont know that my God can heal,my sister is at home ,there is no sign of cancer now at all, also i had a tumor removed myself a few wks ago and its fine no cancer ,,thank Lord for your healing power,for your love and your comfort,

through the years my mom has given me sets of dishes etc to pass down to my children- a whole china cabinette full and then some lol. ( she has done this for each of her children) i have two children far away one in florida one in california ( i am in ny state) and i need to find a way to get those things to them as cheaply and safely as possible as i am not sure i will be able to maintain a place with them in it much longer.

i am not sure if i should look into having them shipped somehow or use a moving company so any suggestions from people who have shipped glass heirlooms would be appreciated. i am on a very limited income atm so cost is a factor as well

I know, Texas and Arizona I would love to go to.. but I want to stay close to the home base so that I can hop over from time to time.

By the way that Houghton school you mentioned has great benefits for Canadians including tuition reduction (for currency matching) which is unheard of here. There is lots of financial assistance and I can even teach in NY if I find a job.. lots of great benefits.

The one problem in this part of ny is that there are many good teaching schools and sometimes the market here can be flooded (all depends upon timing). not sure if it is still true now but when i graduated from Nazareth in 1991 there were anywhere from 400- 1,000 applicants per job, of course that was a while ago and maybe the age of the teachers have opened up a lot more opportunities through retirement at this time so timing really does make a difference in this area. The good news is you could teach anywhere in the US if you are certified by ny state so that would increase the probability to find employment in your field maybe even warmer climates

Usually at a crazy fast pace it would take you a minimum of three years bro. ny has very high requirements for teachers. You would have to either go full time over the summers and/or take an overload of recommended courses. Also some colleges only hold certain required courses at certain times of the year etc. There will be some that are required for the level of education you are going to teach and some that are required in your field and some that are generally required for a BA.

Thanks for the info Rebekah. Did you take and Education major as well? I'm sure if I would work in the US seeing the way things are going with Obama provoking God. I would also miss my friends here in Toronto but I do like the option I have if God gives me a change of heart..

I would love to work in a warmer climate, Toronto is just not that fun sometimes with the snow. Last night while I was thinking about it though I wonder if I could be happy anywhere else than Toronto because its the most diverse city in the world and I grew up here. I love meeting people of different cultures and learning about them. Unless I went to NYC or something, I don't know if I could really be happy elsewhere.

truthfully i am not sure it would be a good idea to have new believers debate on another religion as they need to be grounded in the Word instead. i really think instead of a debate it would be much better to show them using God's Word how the other religions are false and do not line up with it.

Simple Thoughts On Promises- 300

But the LORD your God will deliver them over to you, throwing them into great confusion until they are destroyed. (Deuteronomy 7:23)

A promise to the Israelites for obeying God's commands in the promised land. God knew the fears that the Israelites had in their hearts regarding the strength of the nations that they would encounter.

Regarding this we read in the book of Deuteronomy.

You may say to yourselves, "These nations are stronger than we are. How can we drive them out?" But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt. You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the miraculous signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear. (Deuteronomy 7:17-19)

Are you being attacked by evil forces these days? Has Satan stolen the peace, joy and satisfaction in your life? Is he playing truant with your family?
