  1. A pearl is formed through an irritant In the clam or oyster. It keeps moving the irritant around until it becomes a smooth pearl.

Perhaps that irritant, annoyance, and suffering in your life is to produce that pearl of great price.

In the gospel, the pearl of great price, is compared to the kingdom of God, something a person sells everything they have to obtain.

Wisdom is also described as a pearl (and a female.)

With a clam, suffering produces the Pearl in it's heart. Perhaps suffering in your life is what is producing pearls in your heart that you most treasure?

Jesus was a member of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire treasured pearls above almost everything else.

Maybe the fruit of your suffering is producing what you want to treasure the most?

    Any thoughts?

How about our asking needs to be according to His will?

    1 John 5:14 KJV
[14] And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Where does God promise a person can't repent after dying? I gave you the story of the rich man and Lazarus. He begged for mercy, a drop of cold water on his tongue, but that wasn't good enough. Here is something else...

    Hebrews 9:27 KJV
[27] And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

    Hebrews 2:1-3 NKJV
[1] Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. [2] For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, [3] how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,

I've given you God's Word, you have given me only your opinions. ...I'm done here.

The rich man was asking for Abraham to give him water. Abraham was not able to do it. If God wanted to, nothing is impossible with God. Are you trying to say it's impossible for God to do anything.

I've given you the word. Scripture says all things are possible with God

He's promised those that die without Him shall perish in their sins.

My God does not break His promises.

How about "ask anything of the father in my name and it will be done for you".

Where does God promise that a dead person when resurrected can't repent before Judgement and have Jesus as a defense attorney?

  6. Many Jews were tortured to death in concentration camps I'm reading about. Those Jews did not know Jesus as their lord and savior.  So after being tortured mercilessly day after day and dying , they just have to deal with worst torture in Hell .got it!

Why didn't God forgive this man..?

    Luke 16:23-26 KJV
[23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. [25] But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. [26] And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

I never said God had to forgive anybody... I said he can... He can do anything. That's a fact! it's biblical!

Where did you read that , because that's not true..

It is true. Prove otherwise.  I did not read it anywhere. It was an inspiration that came to me while I was praying. I believe it was from the Holy Spirit.

I believe it pushes people away from God when we start to preach that God is going to burn humble, honest, charitable people in hell for all eternity for not knowing any better.

The Bible says "No' to that, why can you not accept that?

Where does the bible say a person cannot repent after receiving the mark of the beast? I didn't say they would receive God's forgiveness.  I'm saying if God wants to, he can forgive a person and remove the mark.

You're wrong, people told me that it's too late to change your mind after death, just accept what the Bible is saying?

The Bible does not say a person cannot repent after their death and Resurrection before judgement.

Neither does the bible say that every belief we have must be contained in Scripture.

The Bible gives evidence of God making exceptions to the rules.  God can do as he pleases, and nothing in scripture says the power of God is limited

Could you kindly provide a verse that contradicts...

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name."
    (Rev 14:9-11)

    ???

I said I believe a person can repent after receiving the mark. It is my personal opinion. Whether or not God forgives that person is entirely up to God... I don't know... So I don't judge. I don't put limitations on an all powerful omnipotent God.

Scripture says all things are possible with God. The sacrifice of Christ atoned for all sins.  Scripture says that Jesus Christ will bring life to all people.

You trust in His mercy at the expense of His Justice. God is both merciful and just. If He only forgave (mercy) without punishment of sin He would not be just. He can be both because Jesus, being the sinless One took the wrath of God's judgement and offers freely mercy to those who receive His Son.

You still have not shown one piece of evidence that supports your ungodly notion that God forgives the unbeliever after this life. If that is so, why do Missionaries preach the Gospel at the expense of risking their lives?

And you have not provided evidence that God cannot forgive a person who repents after their death and Resurrection before being judged.

I believe some people, after recognizing the truth, will repent before being judged, and God can do whatever he wants, including forgive them.

So, you believe that a Meek, humble, charitable, honest person from Saudi Arabia or North Korea that didn't know Jesus was Lord is going to burn in hell for all eternity for something they did not know?

Missionaries risk their life to preach the gospel, for the Salvation of Souls.  I'm not saying Souls don't go to hell... I'm saying God can make exceptions to any rule, and I can show you in scripture where God has made exceptions to rules.

That doesn't mean some won't repent.... I trust in God's mercy.... God changed his mind about the evil he plan to do to Israel.  God could change his mind about this as well.

@spiderman1917 I suppose you would hold those taking the mark of the Beast will also be saved?

Only a blatant denial of Scripture would say otherwise.

I believe that even if someone receives the mark of the beast, they can repent afterward
