  1. Rom 11 and Jhn 15 are allegories Cletus. Jhn 14:16-18 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you. 18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Using Parables and allegories to discredit His blood or say it's not finished because He's talking in parables is false. The Purpose of Jesus' Parables (Mark 4:10-12; Luke 8:9,10) 10Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why do You speak to the people in parables?” 11He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.12Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13This is why I speak to them in parables: ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.’ 14In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. 15For this people’s heart has grown callous; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.’ 16But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

  3. Believers lose crowns and rewards at the Bema, not salvation Cletus. The term apostasy is only in reference to nonbelievers who had the knowledge of Christ but hadn't received the free gift. Read 2 Pet 2. The 17 things in Rom 8 cover all basis including future, demons etc etc etc....... Pay attention now, don't fall asleep........ 1 Jhn 3:6 No one who remains in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has seen Him or known Him. Jhn 14:17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. Right, we produce fruits of righteousness not to save ourselves but rather because we believe on Him who keeps us saved. Godly righteousness, not self righteousness Eternal life is for those who believe and confess, Rom 10:9. In regards to Luke 8:13, Matthew and Mark use the words "trouble and persecution" and Paul says neither trouble or persecution can separate us from God. Again, Luke is referring to those who have the knowledge of Christ but not the free gift. Matt 13:21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Mark 4:17 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Why are you using allegories to discredit the blood of Christ?
  4. Right, lol and most don't understand when scripture is describing visions like the 5th seal. I think we learned about visions in third grade, maybe first grade.
  5. Hey Butero, wut's the subtitle for Eze 13, just out of curiosity... is it God's will that we work for our salvation or depend on him..... Ezek 13 “ ‘Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, 11therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth. 12When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?” 13“ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury. 14I will tear down the wall you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it b falls, you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the Lord. 15So I will pour out my wrath against the wall and against those who covered it with whitewash. I will say to you, “The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it, 16those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Sovereign Lord.” ’ Matt 7 15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
  6. Rom 11 and Jhn 15 are allegories. Please do your studies before you post
  7. no, only the religiouz who are blind to His death/burial/resurrection believe it's an idol. to believers Christ is alive
  8. No, not balogna. The topic of the thread is whether you can lose salvation or not. Using OT saints for your defense is poor exegesis. We are no longer under the blood of goats and calves. I see you've been doing this since 2014? Well, many won't accept His free gift. So they have to work for it........... Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. from who's hands Cletus, from burt and earnie's hand? well, that's the thing. the accuser of the brethren says they return to sin, but scripture says differently... 1 Jhn 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. if they abandon the faith they were never born again to begin with. for example, a born again believer can never go back to atheism or say that Jesus is not God anymore because the Holy Spirit never leaves them. They are sealed until redemption, Eph 1:13-14 I have answered you, I guess the only difference is that I believe the Word of God. Jesus says everyone the Father gives me I will not turn away which is referring to everyone who comes to faith from then until now.
  9. "Everyone before Pentecost, or everyone for 2000 yrs... Jhn 6:37 Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never drive away. Jhn 6:44 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. Jhn 6:65 He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them."
  10. Right, before Jesus died and before the seal of God. What does Jhn 10:25-30 say about those who follow Him after Pentecost?
  11. No, I point them to Christ and His finished work, not to self righteousness which non-osas is bathing in.
  12. Are you referring to his disciples that were alive before Pentecost and the seal of God, or those after Pentecost... Luke 9:61 Still another said, “I will follow You, Lord; but first let me bid farewell to my family.” Jhn 6:64-65 However, there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray Him.) 65Then Jesus said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has granted it to him.” Jhn 10:25-30 “I already told you,” Jesus replied, “but you did not believe. The works I do in My Father’s name testify on My behalf. 26But because you are not My sheep, you refuse to believe. 27My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. 28I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. 29My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30I and the Father are one.”
  13. Well, thankfully I depend on the finished work of the cross and not a doctrine to keep me saved
  14. and I told you that it's not a doctrine to those who believe. what is the title of this thread?
  15. Well, no. its not a doctrine to those who believe. it's the living Word inside of them
  16. Well, I preach the finished work of the cross. Who died on the cross Butero?
  17. Mess? No, I would think that the finished work of the cross is simpler than the laundry list of things we have to do to stay saved 2 Cor 11:3-4 I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ. 4For if someone comes and proclaims a Jesus other than the One we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the One you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it way too easily.
  18. well, you;ve been hearing Grace salvation for how long, what page are we on now 52? ?
  19. in which Rom 11 is also using allegory language, strike two friend
  20. Right, the religious are cast out because they never had the root to begin with. either you're born again or not
  21. No, quenching the spirit and loss of crowns and rewards is the possibility, 1 Thess 5:19. Do you believe he will do it............. 1 Thess 5:23-24 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
  22. friend, you can warn them without adding loss of salvation to your doctrine. it's called sanctification, discipline, anointing and godly sorrow.
  23. I believe the soul and the spirit have different characteristics being that they are two different words and definitions. Remember, a spirit is not a human person, an individual until he becomes a soul. pneuma: wind, spirit Original Word: πνεῦμα, ατος, τό Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter Transliteration: pneuma Phonetic Spelling: (pnyoo'-mah) Definition: wind, spirit Usage: wind, breath, spirit. psuché: breath, the soul Original Word: ψυχή, ῆς, ἡ Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine Transliteration: psuché Phonetic Spelling: (psoo-khay') Definition: breath, the soul Usage: (a) the vital breath, breath of life, (b) the human soul, (c) the soul as the seat of affections and will, (d) the self, (e) a human person, an individual.
